Oh! I must tell you - when a reader can really feel what a character is feeling, then you know you have truly written something well. Hun, I certainly felt for Hermione. I about cried in the beginning! But, lucky for me, you ended on a much happier note. It was very well written - plenty of descriptions and such. I love how you call Ron's eyes "warm blue".
