Wandering Fox 2008-10-28 . chapter 1I should have reviewed this long ago, like, one the first three times I read it. I just love it. The graveyard scene makes me cry every single time. Wonderful descriptions. Beautiful emotions. And a well-written Relena. Really nice. |
serenity-relena 2006-09-09 . chapter 1Beautiful story of a woman's power and the power of love...beautifully written. Kudos |
SiLvErMoOnWiNg 2006-05-10 . chapter 1*teary-eyed. blow nose with a tissue* This was such a sad and heartbreaking story. I couldn't stop crying. It was too much to comprehend. Too much angst. Heero's death...Relena being abused...the other's lives shattering and fallin apart with Heero's death. Wow this story was so SERIOUS. It was so sad that Relena didn't care about herself that she left that Jonathan bitch hurt her and take advantage of her. But I'm glad that Relena was able to stand up for herself and regain control of her life once again. That she was able to have hope in her heart once again.
At the beginning I thought Heero just left. I didn't think that he died. I thought that he'd eventually come back for her. But when I read about his death I was depressed and heartbroken. *sighs* I didn't think how much Heero's death would affect everyone...especially Wufei. WOW. I just hope that Relena and everyone else will be able to start living again in happiness. This fic may have been depressing and completely heartbreaking but it was beautifully written. It was REALLY mindblowing. And it's given me a new insight in life.
I hope that you continue writing more stories. But not too much depressing ones.

Airurando 2005-06-03 . chapter 1That was very moving. My only suggestion is to change the last line to "that which would carry her home," instead of "that that would carry her home," because it flows a little easier. Other than that, it was fantastic. |
Airmis 2004-09-29 . chapter 1I'm not a big fan of the pairings. And every once in a while, I'll change and read 1xR pairings. This happened to be one of the times. I really enjoyed this story and she stood up for herself. Keep up the good work.

kaili 2004-06-15 . chapter 1 i hadn't read this one, so i decided to today. it was so incredibly sad! beautifully written- the secret of heero's suicide, though expected, was concealed and told where i didn't want to believe it. wonderful story. |
Gohanzgirl 2004-06-03 . chapter 1god... that was depressing... depressing but oddly good... *sighs* good job |
Amulak 2004-03-28 . chapter 1O... This one gave me chills... It was VERY well written and I applaud your use of these serious topics to make an excellent story. I really enjoyed reading it! ^_^ |
Andi 2003-12-21 . chapter 1 I read this one yesterday, but I had to let it sit a while so I'm reviewing today. This one was...different, and I think it's because of Relena's state of mind in the begining. She seemed so lost, and for a good reason. I loved how Relena found herself again, and how Jonathan wasn't able to shoot her. You also did a good job of sort of leaving us to decide for ourselves whether or not Heero committed suicide or if it was an accident. In regards to it being 'choppy', it was just a little in places - but it pulled together nicely. Great job. |

ren 2003-10-18 . chapter 1 AAh! To much angst. I knew when I started reading this again that I'd already read it and I'd already decided that it displayed more emotions than I could handle but I kept reading anyway. I guess I just like to torture myself.
This was ofcours unbaleavably beautiful, although I skipped over so much in my hast to end the misery, that I'm surprised I even got the jest of it's meaning. I simply don't have words to describe how some or your writting makes me feel. It's like I don't want to read it but I have to cause it's so raw and pure, that to not would be like condeming myself to hell.
I offer up to you my feeble praise in hopes that you will continue on and know that everything you write is greatly appreciated |
momiji-k 2003-09-06 . chapter 1This one had me rolling around in agony! I kept expecting Heero to come and rescue Relena from her tortured life. How shocked I was that he haddn't "left" but had DIED! Very angsty and very good like all your other stories. Now I have to go read a happy fic to get over this depression. ;) |
child-of-the-owl 2003-03-25 . chapter 1Why are most of your stories SAD?! But this is a good fic, beautifully written. |
PerfectSoldier09 2003-03-19 . chapter 1The entire first paragraph was wonderfully written. [Across the stretch of the horizon, the last light of the golden day flared in a bright line reaching from one end of the world to the other, a light only to be vanquished as the body of the sun was dragged forcibly down beneath the roll of the earth.] this was a particularly good description. The entire idea of Relena replacing Heero with Johnathan is very well done. I have seen many people who do the same thing in real life, and you write this in such a way that is seems realistic. Abusive relationships are another common occurence I've heard. You could have explained more of why Johnathan was cheating on Relena, or why he was with her to begin with, but I realize that his motivations were not the focus of the story, and witht he focus on Heero and Relena -mainly Relena- I also feel that further explaination was not necessary. This was a wonderful Pro-Relena fiction. Most people see her as rather ditzy and weak, seeing as in the series she was 15 years old and yes, she was immature and a bit childish at times, but she did grow up. This is a good idea of how she would have further grown up if the series had gone on. I also would like to note your descriptions of Heero after he was dead. [matted hair and the bloating of his flesh from the salt water] This was unique and nice. Most people who write fanfiction in which Heero meets his demise, killhim off ina clean manner, gun, slit wrists, the like. You chose to toss him into the water. I like this because in other fictions, after he's dead, Heero's body looks just as it did when he was alive, save a new buttonhole or a few slashes on his wrists. In your fiction he was severly distorted. Wonderful fic. |
will o' the wisp 2003-03-14 . chapter 1 A very powerful story. Sorry, that's all I can come up with now please excuse me while I pick my jaw off of the floor. ^_' |
