What I wouldn't give to see a continuation of this particular story. To watch as father trained the unknowing son. To see them develop and bond and everything. But I also see how this story could be complete. A new beginning with the future unwritten and full of possibility. Wonderful job.

A nice, realistic AU. I glad that Anakin and Luke are together. But poor Padme and Leia. And the younglings speculation was accurate. Children will talk and those would be the things they would say.

Oh wow. I love this story to so many pieces. I love the entire universe you've depicted in this one slice-of-life. This is who Anakin Skywalker could have been - pilot, husband, loving father and unsure new master. I wish so very much that little Luke had really had the chance to know this man as his father. You're very talented, and this is such a gorgeous piece of fic. It's such a unique twist on well, everything. The references to the canon make it feel like it could have actually happened (unlike with some AUs where it just goes completely away from everything, including canon), rather than what actually did at the end of RotS (Yes, I know you wrote it beforehand. It's just more poignant reading it afer RotS!).
