You took these 3 characters and made them feel like real people instead of mere excuses for revenge. Don't get me wrong, my love for the first movie borders on obsession, but now I can imagine that Shelly you described and it adds some more depth to the whole story. Thank you for that.

I wish I could say that one word could sum up how this story reads to me, but there aren't enough words to convey that fact.

As a fan of the mythos and a sometime-writer myself, you well and truly captured the feelings one would imagine these three would have regarding what their loved ones are doing. I can see these Shelly, Danny and Lauren experiencing what you've just described, and that, to me, speaks of creative genius.
