This is the first time that i have reviewed for Beast Wars fic. It's been so long since Beast Wars was on! I still did up the shows I bought and taped, though.
I thought that this was very god in remebering Rattraps unique way of talking and thorough. There were some many good lines!
I would have liked dialogue with old 'Bolt to break up the monotony but it does work well as a monologue.
Overall good job.

I am really a person hard of expressing my own feelings, but this touched me.. and I don't even like Rattrap that much! ^-^ It's really an insightful thought I never cared to have. Congratulations.

Loved, it, Chao-chan. (Is Shakespeare contagious, btw?) I liked Rattrap's explanation of why dreamers are dangerous, and his attempt to justify dragging 'Bolt down to Earth. Nice DB/SB parallel too.

Be interesting to see if RT regrets those words in BM, wouldn't it?

Wow! An interesting look into what Rattrap's really thinking.

I never really liked Rattrap until he got into Beast Machines when the show got more in depth into his personality. And the way you showed more of the 'softer side' of Rattrap was awsome.

If you like to read fics like this one you wrote, then there's fic writen by Albeto(I'm not sure if that's how you spell it) called Cybertron Chronicles. It take place after the Beast Wars, but instead of going into Beast Machines Megatron in sentanced to recycling. It shows the whole Maximal/Predicon culture from a different point of view, and in the end you see that Megatron wasn't just a ranting lunitic when he talked about freedom for Predicons.

There were several points in the story when I literally had stop reading for a while just because it was too intense to keep going.

Anyways, back to your fic. I liked the way you discribed Rattrap and how you gave a reason for his personality. So he lost all his dreams, huh? Well, that would explain a lot. You showed he wasn't entirely cynical by how he never told Silverbolt the entire cold hard truth, but at the same time Rattrap himself never acnoloeged(sorry, can't spell. Maybe this'll help: Ack nol edged) that fact. Like he knew he was cynical, but at the same time he wasn't as cynical as he or anyone thought he was.

BTW loved that one fic with BA Tratulus(universe's worst speller, I'm aware of it).
