it clearly showed their feelings- hotohori's, houki's, and boushin's.
some fanfics felt good, but on one part, it's "fantasized."
this one felt good because its realistic.

newbies like me learn a lot from fics like this.

Good Story, make a sequel

This is a wonderful piece that captures the spirit of the characters and of that scene very well. I love the way you've portrayed Boushin here. Very nicely done. We don't see enough Houki fics! I will likely read more of your work.

By the way, the name Boushin took as a adult was Reizeitei. I had to find it for a story my sister is writing. Took me awhile to find it, too.

You’re right in implying there aren’t enough Houki fics out there and I wanted to commend you, on the POV, the eloquence and the scene itself. In its own artful way it doesn’t betray the canonical relationships with fan-fic author’s preferences. Although I’m aware of your favouring Nuriko’s character, mine as well, you did a brilliant job of being an impartial story-teller. Thank you kindly for sharing your charming story.

This is really great. It's one of the few Eikoden Fan Fics that I've read that don't have a completely boring point, or one that recycles the continuous idea that Miaka and Taka's daugther gets kidnapped/sucked into the book. *hides from the other authors* Anyway, I loved this peice. Good job.

You know, I have always wondered after seeing the Eikouden whether the characters stayed in their past forms or if they changed back. I like to believe that they stayed as they were, but this is also a wonderful take on it.

Your language is good and I think you portrayed Houki very accurately. People think too lightly on her losing Hotohori when really, it hit her as hard as losing Tamahome would have hit Miaka.

This is a great piece of writing. one of the better things on FF.net. Keep up your writing skills ~.^

Hmm...I saw this on the FYFFML and was quite impressed, to say the least. ^_~ I think this is a pretty good answer to the Nuri/Hoto or Houki/Hoto question (though I'm a stout Nuri/Hoto fangirl). I have seen the Eikou Den (3D! Cool!) and the chibis were cute! ^^ Can't wait to get the Jap version and hear Nuri-chan's chibi voice...

I like this! It's nice, and I don't think I've ever read a Houki POV before nda yo. (Am I just... stupid, maybe?) Well this one was good, and I found it well written. Actually... you didn't need Eikouden to understand it nda yo. But yeah. Keep writing na nda!
