ManaphyLover 2009-01-11 . chapter 2 Wow. This was beautifully written; it really stirred up some emotion in me. The first fanfic that ever made me cry. |
Ryan Libra 2008-12-23 . chapter 2Gripping opener, as usual. :D
They say that children can possess an innocence found in no other age. But children can also be quite dangerous, especially when misguided. Kim's reasoning in the second part ARE valid from a child's point-of-view, even though it is undeniably twisted and cruel.
"Despite its bright-eyed smile, the old Clefairy in the photo could not answer her." I like this ender. Silence, placed well within the dialogue, can be more powerful and chilling than words, in my humble opinion. But just remove the "the" before the "its." :D
You know, the way you've crafted Minna's thoughts shows that she truly is still a child. Thinking that Aimee was some powerful, beautiful, or regal pokemon. Believing Kim's spiteful words and demeaning herself in the process. Believing herself a murderer. It's quite sad, really. What must have been the height of her childlike adoration for Kim (for me, at least) came in the second part: 1) battling other pokemon so she could fulfill Kim's wish of being a pokemon master, and 2) building those ice sculptures so Kim could witness the variety of pokemon.
In the end, the only thing you can truly wish for is to have Minna released from her misguided human. And when it does happen, I'm thankful for it, but that doesn't remove the taste of tragedy from the tongue.

Emerald Griffon 2008-05-25 . chapter 1Wow...that was sad. And if you read my profile, you'll know that fanfics rarely make me cry. Congrats, you're the first. *sniffs* That ending was so sweet! |
Espeon morph 2007-05-29 . chapter 2 Does that mean aimee took her to heaven? How sad! You were so mean kim! A pokemon needs love! not hate and utter disgust! *gets kim in a pokeball and bury's her 300 feet under the snow.* How do you like them apples?! |
Aleah 2006-07-26 . chapter 2 Dear God...that rocked. I was so into the story that I tuned out...competly. Heck, if my house was on fire, part of my mind wouldn't have noticed. You rock, there's no doubt about it. You and Farla my my favorite authors and I'd love to hear from you soon! |
Ryuka 2003-06-25 . chapter 2* siffle * Wahh! It's so sad. Poor Minna.
But this is a beautiful story. The emotions of all the characters are so real. And your description is very vivid. The ending, especially, is lovely, and so dramatic.
All in all, this is a wonderful story, and I look forward to reading others. |
Chippy 2003-04-14 . chapter 2Ugh, I practically cried during that. It was so kawaii, yet one of the saddest and most deep pokemon stories I've ever read. The characters were great whether it was only two chapters or not, and the way you tell it...my god, it's so realistic, especially for a pokemon fic...
So, stop reading reviews and go write more, before I'm forced to read the other pokemon fics available. |
Eika 2002-12-11 . chapter 2Really good! You'll forever be a good author if you keep surprise endings always. |
Moonlit Shadow *Too lazy to sign in* 2002-12-02 . chapter 2 ^-^ awww... that was sad.... *Sniff sniff*

When the Morning Dew Falls 2002-12-01 . chapter 2I understand how Kimmie feels about the loss of Aimée. It's so very real. And I know that, when a person is angry, he/she lashes out at whatever thing that he/she knows that he/she can take advantage of. But in spite of this, Minna didn't deserve any of this. I know what the loss of a pet or loved one feels like and that it's hard to get over, but you have to, in time. Thanks for making this so realistic. Waiting for the next chapter.

When the Morning Dew Falls 2002-12-01 . chapter 1You mean to tell me that you've up and started another fanfiction witout telling me? How could you? LOL. I was so surprised when I saw your name because I had grown accustomed to just scrolling down for familiar titles and such. I'm glad that I paid more attention.
This was a great prologue, Erriel. I love the way you describe things. I still envy you on that point. It was as if, I was there myself. Great job. One day, I'll write a fic about a pokémon, and just one pokemon. Minna's emotions are very realistic. I'm glad that she beated it (my expression for getting out) out of there.

Marie Nomad 2002-12-01 . chapter 2Awww... that's so sad... I wish Kim would understand and accept Minna... I mean, Minna was only trying to help.
Is that the end?
If it is, that's so sad and yet so sweet... |
 Eika 2002-11-28 . chapter 1More! Another chapter, please! |
