You know, I took a look at this just to see what sort of crazed lunatic combines Ranma1/2 and powerpuff girls, but I was surprised by how well it worked. I'm not sure how much value it has for storytelling beyond the sheer novelty of the combination, but that little taste was enjoyable, Thank you.

Heh, this story certainly deserves a round of laughter. Not only is it one of the most unique Ranma 1/2 fusions I've had the pleasure of coming across, but it is also incredibly hilarious. Honestly, Ranma 1/2 and the Powerpuff Girls? The Genma/Mojo Jojo fusion alone makes this story worth looking at, and I also really enjoyed the Weasel's Creek cursed training grounds. The new guide and Spring of Drowned Girl were a riot as well. Thanks for sharing this great one-shot.

this looks very interesting. the cast of PPG in the situations of Ranma 1/2. you might want to know, that for some reason the titles on FF.net won't save a lot of things like -'s or /'s, so it says PPG12 on the title. i'm not sure hat i'd reccomend about it, but i figure you'd want to know. and i hope that this lives up to the (very high) expectations set from reading gauntlet, but then, you wouldn't dissapoint me, would you?

First: He's a Koala because they fell into the cursed springs in *Australia.* As established in the Japanese Nannichuan Arch, there are cursed springs outside Jyusenkyou in China, obviously, however, there would NOT be a cursed Spring of Drowned Panda in Australia. Hence the application of the Spring of Drowned Koala, what could be considered the panda's aussie counterpart.
Second: Nabiki is the smartest of the Tendo Sisters (Takahashi's character designs, not mine). It is strongly implied that Blossom is the smartest of the PPGs. The correlation is there, as is a leadership inclination, so as to make a reasonable parallel. Shampoo, on the other hand, does not appear until after the 'Charolette Cup' episodes, bares NO real relationship with any of the other Tendos (and so a Shampoo/Blossom would have no interaction with her sisters), and acts in a contrary way; acting before thinking. In both anime and manga (especially anime) she isn't upto par in the brains department either.
Third: Kasumi is a character of innocent obliviousness. Bubbles is a character of innocent naievete. Maturity has little to do with it, given that all of them are IN KINDERGARDEN anyway. We have also canon references to Bubbles doing the dishes among other things that point to... *ta da* Home maker! And who is the home maker in the Tendo Hall? Exactly.

NO NONONONONONO! You got it ALL wrong, you first said that Ranma's dad/Butche's dad was a koala, its a PANDA, and also, I think that Blossom should of been Shampoo! I mean Nabiki? She doesn't act like her! I think Shampoo would of been much better! AND BUBBLES? As Kasumi? She's too like...NOT mature! YOU GOT IT ALLLLL WRONG! I hate this story.

While this is in no way a bad fanfic in any sense of the word, I must say that I really was hoping to see the Gauntlet: epilogue. I myself am a fan of the Ranma series, so I guess I'm a little biased when I say I liked the originality of the gauntlet series a whole lot. Seeing this was funny, but I've basically read this before...just with different names. Though at least the PPG names are easier to remember.

Please don't forget the Gauntlet!
