I used to watch Ranma 15+ years ago,really enjoyed it and forgot about it. Life went on for me...
Last Xmas, my husband wanted to make me happy and gave me a Ranma DVD. I rediscovered the anime and bought all the manga. I'm now more obsessed than I used to be!! And I have started to read all the fan fictions with Ranma and Akane. I can't read the other pairings, they are not "Ranma" characters, they have to be changed too much.

*Grinning so wide, it hurts my face* I know I already sent in another review but I just read every body else's reviews and I couldn't help but to laugh out loud!! (Me: Rolling on the floor laughing.; My brother: Mommy! Eimi's doing it again!!) I LOVE the people on this sight!! It's nice to know I'm not alone!!*Sniff, sniff* You know what I think? I think that all the weird, obsessed people of the world should move to a country all their own!! Then we could all be happy together and fight over which couples are the cutest!! Yayness!! *crying for joy while running throught the halls screaming "happy day!"*

All I have to say is..."You are not alone." Really. All that stuff, I do it too. My friends think I'm a freak and people who don't know me think I came from a different planet. Literally. Someone asked me that before. I half felt like saying, "Yes, I come in peace" but instead I just handed him the manga book that was conveniently located on the left corner of my desk. The only think I don't have is a mallet; instead I have a paper fan that I whip out of my back pocket and hit people on the head who are annoying me. (My mom wouldn't let me buy a mallet.)

You wouldn't be writing Ranma fanfiction if you *weren't* obsessed/addicted with Ranma1/2 in the first place. (I mean who slaves away for more than what two, five, ten hours [maybe more] a day writing stuff on the minute possibility that some person would read it... and *gasp* possibly like it, and *researches* in tons of history books just to make such a fic accurate??) but like you, I'm obsessed, just as almost everybody here is, for different reasons, different couples. :) But then I also share your same obsession with Ranma and Akane. Still... a little obsession can be healthy :) Look at how it's affecting my History grades. ;)

I'll make this brief. For all of you here that are obsessed with Ranma 1/2, go to http://martialki.cjb.net to learn how to use Ki for stuff like Ki Blasts(think of the Shi Shi Hokoudan, and you'll know what I mean), Ki Balls, and also a bunch of idiots on the message boards there that aren't worth squat for most of them. Some of them are good, like Ranma, Aaron, and Zero20, but the rest really aren't good for Ki at all. Oh, yeah, and before I forget, A. This isn't my page, and B. This isn't a joke, either. Oh, yeah, and for the author.....some time ago this universe started to merge with some others. You'll see Ranma 1/2 happen in about 200 years, if you live long enough(you just have to collect enough Ki like Cologne and Happosai, though you'd be ugly, short, and probably short tempered, it WOULD be worth it, wouldn't it?), Tenchi Muyo in 250 years, and DBZ in 800 years.

I I too obsess too much over Ranma 1/2 *Especially Ranma and Akane* They are the perfect couple. Most people I know haven't even so much as heard of Ranma 1/2 and I spend too much time trying everything I can to know more about it! Ranma and Akane forever! Just had to put that in. Let's see, I have a bamboo umbrella...I practice Martial Arts Food Fu...have a dojo...still trying to get a mallet though, but strangely all that I can get out of my hammerspace are *reaches into hammerspace to pull out...pop-tarts?* Oooh, love to chat and keep ranting about how great Ranma and Akane *their just perfect together...**sniff** * but I see a guy with a black pigtail, it's gotta be Ranma. "Oh Ranma....!" *Max-chan chases after pig-tailed guy...*

*raises hand* I'm obsessesed too...

I take kempo...I have spray-painted my hair red and dressed up as Ranma-chan...
I have a million fanfic ideas...which I must put on paper someday...
I am firmly of the belief that Ranma and Akane are meant to be.

*Jumps for joy* Finally...there is someone like me out there!!!!! Except, instead of owning a mallet, I own a giant spatula!!!! Yes it is actually giant!
I also have a collection of smaller spatulas that I have been known to get in trouble at school for hitting people with them! I also find myself speaking in broken English and saying phrases like "I ask you, Am I the Man or ain't I?" even though I am a girl! I also call people sugar or Jackass because I must be the living Ukyo! Of course... the Ranmaverse is out there and they ALL exsist!
I find myself making plans to get Ranma all to myself!!!! Tee hee! ^_^ It's nice to know that there are other extremely obssesed people out there!!!! *Jumps from roof top to roof top with her spatula* (I gotta try that someday! ^_^)
