Scifi-warper 2006-08-10 ch 1,	abuseYes! The perfect Jayne fic! Oh, this is...this is...I can't describe how excellent this is! Wow! You have Jayne's voice and personality and...wow. This is just perfect! I mean, you have a relatively innocent comment from Mal and Jayne blows it out of proportion. And, seeing the kind of work he's come from, I can understand his suspicions. You don't make it in the black without knowing how to defend yourself, or finding someone to defend you. I especially adored the way you had him describe how Zoe (and Wash) and Kaylee could kill him. "Bang. Dead. Simple as that." It's brilliant. And I just about died of laughter with the comment about "whoring" being in the bible and to "Just ask Shepherd Book." But really, this story rang with the essence of Jayne's personality. It was such a good peek into his mind, I'm afraid of how much time you spent there. LOL. Again, awesome story!

Incredible. Amazing. Shall I reach for my theasaurus? Cause this was an awesome work of fanfiction and I don't think I'll be able to come up with enough words to say so on my own. I can't wait to read more of your work. You managed to capture the hardest character on Firefly to capture, and I still can't figure out how you did it. But I know I want to read more just like it. Keep up the good work.

orion_d13 2002-12-03 ch 1, anon.	abusePersonally, it was like I was inside Jayne's head when I read this fic. Certainly, his assessment of what the crew of firefly would do if ever they had found out about his betrayal, seemed a little too black and white. I'm not sure if some of the characters themselves are capable of murdering him because of his betrayal, but that's my opinion, not Jayne's, and perhaps...in Jayne's mind, he reckons everyone on the ship would be a dangerous enemy, if they ever had reason to make him one. At least, you certainly made me believe that. Thanks for the good time in Jayne-land. ;)

One thing though, I thought the Doctor did know about Jayne selling them out... he was right there while the Fed guy was bragging about double crossing him... and his gushing about Jaynes heroics were just to cover what really happened? I could be wrong, just wondering.
