Okay, I have a question: would it be possible to aquire and morph yourself? This would create a backup copy of your DNA, allowing you to instantly repair yourself if you are injured without changing your form, as well as giving you ability to thought-speak in your own body.

Nice theory, but doesn't it state somewhere (can't remember which book) that Ax said all DNA in the galaxy (as far as he knows) is like human DNA (double helix, 4 nitrogenous bases -Thymine, Adaline (sp?), Cytosine, and Guamine-)?

hmmm...you sound like one of my explanations that I give to the cheerleaders when they ask dumb questions. "yes, the girl used the teletransportation machine to get to the other side of the school. you use it by putting your hand on the little panel. the panel sends an electromagnetic shock through your body, reducing it into individual atoms which are carried through hidden tubes in the celing in exact order until they reach the end, upon where they are dropped back into place, one atom at a time, so they remain in the correct order..."
