I really like this. It asks some of the questions that I always wanted to know. And what the hell do the yeerks do when something doesn't have a brain, just, for example, a nerve net, like jelly fish? Or what if the creature's brain isn't made up of neurons? Barely all the creatures on earth have neurons, let alone the universe. But I guess in the world of Animophs, they just do. It's in the mind of the author, so 'they just do...' So they could simply break up inside the person's head, and make like cocaine and stop and change the nerve signal at the synapses. They could even use their own neuro-transmitters than to control the person how they like...

No. They obviosly attack to the part of the brain which sends out signals to the body and then blocks them, changes them to their whims, and then sends them out agian. They also take the incoming signal and split them so they go to their brain and their hosts brain. Wow. Thats my longest post ever.
