Hi! I'm just taking a little break, (I'll probably do this every once in a while!)
I just really needed to say that I loved Kyo's promise to himself (To run screaming down the hallway after reading the letter)It cracked me up!
And I'm thrilled that the Kyo/Hisoka interaction (flirting?) started this early.
Oh, and the way Kyo keeps picking on Watari is just too funny! LAMO!
Oh No! I'm getting Kyo-centric! Help me!

That last chapter made me squeal in joy SO much. (And made me want to shoot customers that had to call and interupt my reading, but that's another story)

I know that, considering how serious everything is, this is probably inapropriate, but I have this mental image of Akuma singing "I'm the voice in your head, every day I will be there, if you can not stand me I don't care! I'm the voice in your head, every day I will be there, 'cause I'm living, living in your he-e-ead!"

So... That last dream... Just to see if I understood it right... Was it a combination of his death and his parents death? That's what it seems like, but I figured I'd ask, just to be sure.

And yes, I'm still loving your characters. This fic obviously isn't as good as your more recent ones, but I still like it. ^_^. So no worries! Kyo and Taka still rock.

And for some reason, every time I try to think of what Taka looks like, my mind makes him look like Taka from Fushigi Yuugi... Which brings up some very humorous mental images of Kyo as Miaka. XD

Man, you know how close I am to crying? It's not even funny! I finished this arc, and skipped to the last chapter of the second one, and I nearly cried! Hell, who's to say I won't start crying now?! *sniffs*
Anyway, as far as this fic goes, it is quite enlightening. Now I know the story (sort of, seeing as I still need to read the next one for the FULL story) of how Kyo and Taka became Shinigami. I heart them! Whoever makes the manga, please add in Kyo and Takashi as characters! Onegai shimasu! S'il vous plait! Por favor! ...I don't remember how to say please in any other languages. Oh well.
I noticed that your writing was a bit... shaky, shall I say?- compared to the HP/YnM. Hell, it changed throughout this fic. You've definintely improved. Not to say you were bad before. But you've gotten better, and I hope you appreciate hearing that. It's meant as a compliment.
I might borrow Kyo and Taka, if you don't mind. YnM won't be the same after reading this! Kyo and Taka belong in this universe, damnit! We need a petition! *goes to write one up*
*Yami Quatre walks into the computer lab and sees the lonely, abandoned computer. She shrugs and gets on, seeing the unfinished review. She grins.*
Yami Quatre: So she finally finished the arc. I'm glad. She was starting to get on my nerves, and got yelled at more than once for not doing her homework.
*Yami Kenshin walks in, followed by Duo and Tsuzuki. The self-proclaimed Shinigami and the real one are talking excitedly.*
Yami Kenshin: Shut them up! They've been going on and on about death for hours already! it's enough to make me want to kill them myself!
Tsuzuki: I'm dead already.
Duo: I have a scythe.
*Yami Kenshin pulls out the Millennium Staff.*
Yami Kenshin: You know what this does, Duo, but Tsuzuki doesn't, so I shall explain. This is the Millennium Staff. It's modeled after the Millennium Items of the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom. It basically does whatever I or Yami Quatre or my adopted hikari wants it to do. It also has a handy spike in the bottom of it. It can kill death, and I can use the Dragon Balls to bring you back to life, Tsuzuki, so I can kill you.
*Tsuzuki eeps and turns chibi, hightailing it outta the room. Duo stares after him, nonplussed, before turning to Yami Quatre.*
Duo: Yami Quatre! Kenshin scared away the god of death!
*Kenshin pops in just then randomly.*
Kenshin: Oro? *sees Yami Kenshin and blinks* Oh. I see my darker half has found someplace to go. I'll just be going now. *Wanders out into the hall. Of a girl's dorm. Where there are girls. And it's nighttime. People scream and Kenshin can be seen running down the hall with a multiude of half-naked girls chasing after him. Also fully dressed girls who want to do nothing more than glomp him. Namely Quatre and her friends Michelle and Kayla.*
Duo: *giggling* That was well worth losing Tsuzuki!
*Quatre walks back in then dragging Kenshin, who is dragging Kayle and Michelle. Two other people can be seen behind her. One looks like Harry Potter, only without the glasses and scar. The other looks like Yugi Mutou, except with silver eyes.*
Quatre: *irritably to the boys who followed her* Kurai! Ame! Leave! You're supposed to be with JK!
Kurai (the Harry Potter lookalike): But she doesn't have any more sweets.
Ame (the other one): Because you ate them all.
Kurai: And drank. Don't forget. I drank her pop too.
Ame: It's called soda in other parts of the world. And coke.
Kurai: And I ate all of her pizza.
Quatre: *exasperatedly* Fine! But be warned, I have no money and no sweet stuff!
*Ame and Kurai shrug nonchalantly and wander to Quatre's room. A twitchmark appears on her head.*
Yami Quatre: That's what you get for creating OCs and not doing anything about them. They get bored and develope personalities of their own.
*A crash can be heard coming from suite E.*
Yami Quatre: And for creating a Tok'ra with a penchant for practical joking.
Quatre: It was JK's idea!
*Tsuzuki peers into the computer lab cautiously. In all of the confusion, the Millennium Staff has vanished. He breathes a sigh of releif and walks in.*
Tsuzuki: It was fun to be here, but I'm afraid duty calls. *He bows deeply and vanishes.*
Yami Quatre: *to Quatre* You have school tomorrow. Go sleep. Now.
*Quatre pouts*
Quatre: Fine. You finish the now-completely pointless review. *She yawns abruptly and and goes to bed.*
Yami Quatre: And we are now being hustled out of the computer lab. Ja ne!
*The hall overseer-lady comes and and forcefully shoves everyone out, locking the door behind them. The various anime characters and OCs glare at her, but she's used to the glares, seeing as she's lived on the hall with them for almost a full school year now. Duo goes back to Michelle's closet. Ame and Kurai are lounging on Quatre's bed. Quatre is threatening them with dismemberment if they don't get off. Yami Quatre has vanished into a fandom, and Yami Kenshin has taken over Quatre's roommate's computer. The real Kenshin makes his escape.*

Yay! Happy ending! I already read A Love Story. Oh well, it was a prequel.

Poor Kyo. it's like Hisoka torture! You really feel for him, but you enjoy it!
