Well its been roughly 5 years since you last updated this I think I can safely say you have given up on it. haha
Well have to say it has been getting so good to just leave it now. I guess I can just hope one day you get back into it.

The conflicting ideas within Kenshin is a very interesting concept. Hm...

As for a comment, it seems the very end of the last scene -is- just a teensy bit forced. I'm not sure if Kaoru would cry over the leaf. Maybe her eyes would just seems sad? Or they could be glossy with unshed tears (so she's not really crying)?

I hope you can find the time to finish this great piece of work.

your Ronin Kaoru series are the best things to be posted in Fanfiction so please continue!!i am sorry i didn't review your other stories but it is hard to find words worthy enough to praise your genius.you have a real flair at writing and your stories are so realistic i would rather this than the original (RuroKen.)it's hard to write with such a complicated storyline, to explain the change in characters and make it sound REAL. you, however, did just that and very sucessfully at that. i love your style because it is very mature and you never falter or go OOC. your characterizations make it easy to identify people and your writing is very detailed. it is also quite analytical - of self, of thought, motion and emotion. deeply beautiful, though a bit complex, inspirational.

Are you planning to continue this story? I really hope you do, its so hard to find engaging fics in canon setting with this fandom (so many AUs). I've read your xholics fics (which I also really enjoy) so I know you haven't given up writing fanfics alltogether. If its not too much trouble, could you put up a notice whether this piece is abandoned or not? You're killing me in suspense here.
