This fic was beautiful. In the end I felt like crying when Locke chose Celes over Terra since I'm a TerraxLocke fan. I feel so bad for Terra. I hope she finds her happy ending. This fic wassad but I loved it nonetheless. ^_^

Terra deserves locke! Not Celes! Bad ending!

I know this is years old, but it's new to me, and such. Anyway...

This is a classic dilemma, expertly explored, and you ought to recycle this for some original fiction of your own some day and make some money off this, if you haven't already, because it's THAT good.

It's perfect and it's absolutely believable. There are no villains. Just three people trying to be happy in a screwed up world. And you're sitting there rooting for Terra to make it work with Locke, even though she knows and the reader knows that what she's doing is the ultimate in bitchy betrayal. But if you don't have the guts to make a move for the one you love, why even bother living? She's GOT to go for it, selfish and wrong as it is, and she knows it. But at the same time, how could you forgive a guy for being so heelish as to ditch Celes and hop into the sack with another woman, just because they had a fight? After all Celes and Locke went through together? Locke's no kind of hero and no kind of man if he leaves Celes like that. ESPECIALLY at the end, when he almost runs off after Terra right after proposing to Celes and right in the middle of making love to her.

And the best part is that you didn't punk out and let Locke off the emotional hook (like the game seems to have done). All the love for Celes hasn't purged the love for Terra from his mind. And he will always wonder "what if" especially when he and Celes have spats in the future. It'd be so much easier (well, not for Terra) if Locke didn't care about Terra anymore. But he does. Hahaha, poor bastard.

Sorta like that line near the end about two worthy choices. It summarizes the story so well. Either way Locke goes would be equally worthy. And also equally wrong. He WILL save one and condemn the other, and love both, no matter what.

;_; You tricked me. I honestly thought it was gonna be a slightly angsty Terra x Locke fic with a lovely happy ending. ;o; You make me cry. I suppose the title should've told me otherwise, but shrugged it off and junk. It certainly doesn't help that I dislike Celes with a passion, either. XP

Either way, this fic is great. Nicely written, and the insight into Terra's mind is, for some odd reason, amusing. ^^; Locke confused me, though. Mleh.

Alright, first, I want to say this fic is so sad, so good, so sweet. Locke is gay.
This fic nearly made me cry, it was that emotional. Locke is a **. Terra is portrayed not so innocent and perfect, but she doesn't deserve the ending Locke gives her, but then, thats life, and thats the small dose of reality that made this fic perfect. LOCKE IS AN IDIOT. sigh.. This is going onto my favs list.

Terra has to live with the pain of what she can never have. (Insert Nelson's 'Hawhaw' from The Simpsons here.)Oh well. I've said it before for many FFVI stories, and I'll say it again. The only flaw this fic had was simple: No Mog. Not one damn second of Moogle (Or Moglie if you prefer) goodness. Shame on you. But... it was so good anyway. Just remember that next time, it could have been even better with Mog.

*takes deep breath* Okay. This was amazingly well-written, the angst so vivid...and I liked how you didn't make Terra pure and perfect. I liked how she was jealous, how she knew that she shouldn't be going to see Locke but did it anyway. I suppose you could think that overhearing the conversation was her punishment, but...gosh, that was just so cruel. *shakes head* Too bad there isn't a sequel...I would have liked to see how Terra and Locke got over each other, as Locke still harbors some feelings for her. (The part where he told Celes "you and only you" got a raised eyebrow from me, considering how he was just thinking about Terra. Hehe, maybe she's too good for him anyway! jk)
All in all, great story, I'm adding it to my favs. ^_^
