I just finished this story and Regaining. I really hope that you plan to continue this story some time. The interactions between Severus and Hermione are very well done, and I would love to see how you would continue to develop their relationship.

Hello! I just finished "Regaining" last night & then found this story as its sequel.

Excellent job on both! Will there be more to this story? I know it's been awhile since the last update, but wasn't sure if that meant that the story was done or that it's just not been updated. As it stands right now, I can see both options as a possibility.

My favorite part of this particular story was Ginny's teasing of Hermione in the Great Hall - not to mention the earlier teasing from Ron about the same thing.

Heh. I laughed my butt off during the scene in the dining hall where Hermione was violently denying her crush on Snape. And speaking of him, I feel really bad for him. Don't let him get smashed into bits!

Incidentally, I think his reluctance to take his pain potion is dead-on in-character. And I really like the relationship he has here with Professor McGonagall (incidentally, was she married to/in love with Tom Riddle in your storyverse?) Dumbledore rocks, but he always does that.

Yeah, I was so glad to get the e-mail from you telling me where I could find the start of this sequel. I'm hoping you will start breathing life into it again very soon! It will be interesting to see the DE meeting and to find out who the new guy was. So once again I will tell you I am loving it. Please,please,please continue with it.

Argh! I've just discovered this amazing story, am fully caught in the drama of impending action, (and your usual excellent handling of Snape and Hermione ... "tall, dark, and surly" indeed ... heh), and now I see it hasn't been updated in ages. Please come back to this one. It's far too good to simply fade away.

Sorry to not have reviewed earlier. I particularly enjoyed Hermione's trauma; you've encapsulated the crushing phenomenon perfectly with your description of her vacillation. I've always liked your incarnation of Hermione and I'm looking forward to seeing how you're going to develop her in the coming chapters. Also, I'll admit I'm pretty anxious about the coming attack...write more soon!

A grim tone to the story but I'm immensely cheered to see a continuation of "Regaining" or, frankly, anything by you. Lately there's been a lot more chaff than wheat on ff.net and it's delightful to find something worth reading again. Bravo.

So glad you're doing a sequel, as "Regaining" is one of the intro pieces to the SS/HG fandom that I recommend to curious fan fen. MOre! Yay!

BTW Wolfram and Hart?! LOL yeah...like Hermione wouldn't have fun with that universe...she, Fred, and Wes would talk themselves hoarse...
