abuseGreat job! I have to admit that I have not read anything by Arthur C. Clarke just yet. However, I just recently bought "Rendezvous with Rama" and plan to read it very soon.

I agree with what you say. Prejudice is a big problem, and lots of authors show us that by creating a futuristic world that also has these same problem, so that when we read the fiction we realize the truth of the real world.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this essay and I look forward to reading all of the "Rama" series.
