i don't really wander in this end of ffnet but i somehow stumbled over your story and i love it. it's refreshing to see a point of view from a very calculating, mean, cold source as you've played Kate out. i have watched a bit of Lizzie McGuire and though Kate really seems to be mean spirited with flashes of kindness to lizzie when no one is looking, you have drawn her with a depth i never imagined. i liked the power play and the politics part, you pulled that off smoothly.

Whoa, great ending. I actually like the unresolved issues. It sort of gives the reader a chance to use his imagination and figure out what happened.
From the excerpt the sequel looks very very intriguing. Can't wait for you to post it. Christman is too far away though...
As final comments I must say that I admire you a lot. You did a great job with the story, especially with a plot that is controversial. Even though you said that you didn't mean for it to have substance, it takes a lot of talent (which you obviously have) to write a story about something like this without making it sound stupid or corny.
So, congrats again on the great story.
