 L. Sith 2005-06-16 . chapter 12The scene between Jiya and Misao is refreshing - being a warrior isn’t about glory. You have shown the generation gap between the two characters well. |
EK 2005-06-13 . chapter 12 Man this chapter was INSANELY long. ^^V That said, nice interaction between Aoshi and Misao, from the writer who writes of Enishi. (clap, clap) This stuff could stand as a fic in itself, you know, nee-san!
don't worry. We'll keep reading it. No matter how long it takes. I can relate to not being able to upload because of real life concerns.
See ya around, nee-san!

Mary-Ann 2005-06-13 . chapter 12Perfect, as always. I have nothing to complain about, except maybe the fact that you updated on a very bad day for me. I couldn't read your chapter right away, a real tragedy (T-T).
I took the time to re-read a few chapters, and it made me realise, once again, what a wonderful author you are. This fic is excellent, nothing less. You have the hability to make us laugh and cry, with the characters, as if we were in the same room.
I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. I can hardly wait. (^-^)
Take care, MA |
kamorgana 2005-06-12 . chapter 12I'm so glad that you updated! *hugs* This chapter was absolutely perfect! You know and portray the character so well that scenes like the dinner at the Aoiya are tremendously enjoyable. I loved Aoshi's reaction...it's so Aoshi, both in his way to think and his reaction to Sano (men and their pride). The girls' talk was also great, and I particularly liked Megumi's intervention (clever girl that she is). I see that the plot also progresses, with this message from Hokkaido...*ohoho* Knowing that you're inspired, I'm waiting impatiently for the following: one chapter by you, with an intricate and coherent plot, IC characters, entertaining moments makes up for the tons of insipid shit flowing everywhere. Thank you for this great story *hugs* |
 L. Sith 2005-01-27 . chapter 11The tension between Enishi and Jihan is tangible and well maintained throughout |
 zop 2004-12-23 . chapter 11 Really great. |
Mary-Ann 2004-12-08 . chapter 11And yes, we are back to the stars... and with great delight. (^-^) There is something highly intriguing about Jihan and about what is going on in the Alliance. You have managed to create a really good intruige. And with what had just been said, I suppose that the day when other well known Meiji citizens are going to join Jihan and Enishi is not too far away... Yay!
The interraction between Jihan and Enishi is really awesome. You are taking your time exploring these two characters' minds and I love it, because they truly are fascinating. I loved how you only referred to the incident, without directly showing it, it's a very good way to do it, very powerfull as the reader's imagination is put into contribution.
Hoping to read more soon. (^-^) |
EK (lazy again.....arggh) 2004-12-05 . chapter 11 Thanks for making my day. It's been ages since I've read any fics besides mine. Finally the story is up and running again, with Jihan and Eni-chan still spatting but more, erm, calmly? ^^
You really should make this a book. A book I can put in my hands and read.
Sorry if you didn't like the most recent KK stuff I made. I still like Eni-chan lots, but I want to try other things too. It's almost done now. I'm about to make a Y/T fic, but I'm still planning it in my head.
See ya around, nee-san!

kamorgana 2004-12-04 . chapter 11*grins* No, Enishi isn't a simple human *grins again*
Call me a fangirl but I'm jubilating at this kind of reaction from the villains. They don't know yet what kind of s* Enishi can give them *ohoho* Hail to the Brat!
Here are my "future" guys again! Jihan is really my favorite creation of yours. Complex, smart, ruthless and more...She rocks! *hoping that Enishi is safely locked in your closet* The Nee-san question is definitely a delicate one and Jihan's "delicacy" (lack of...my favorite!) is delicious to my evil self. I also like how she hangs on to prejudices to reassure herself, and how you show that Enishi is also questioning her conception of the world. This is a crucial point for their relationship and you dealt with it perfectly. Civility? Delusion, when you have *that* kind of chemistry...Poor dears *evil laugh*
More A/M? More Saitoh? *heavenly grin* But I'll be waiting as impatiently for the following of Jihan and Enishi's adventures. Until then, take care and be inspired! |
 L. Sith 2004-12-01 . chapter 10I like how you shortened the title from "The Future is Written in the Stars", it kept the sci-fi flavor without giving too much of the plot away. The A/M scene is well done, and I liked the scene with Saitoh. |
jbramx2 2004-11-17 . chapter 10I LOVE YOU. wah! This is wonderful! If only I could get my brains in order on time. En fin, YESH! Saitoh is closer to the truth. God I love the man who knows how to get things done perfectly. You write him so delightfully too. :) I'm dying of excitement for the next chapter! lol, poor gravedigger dude. Very nice. And omigod, you are the second person to write Aoshi so wonderfully that even I like him (normally I can't stand him). Brilliant insight into his mind. Splendido! And lmao! GO Misao! Ah well, her attempts at giving Aoshi the cold shoulder were good while they lasted. Damn, I can't wait till the next chapter. This is just so brilliant. I read this chapter three times, cuz it was it just that good. Wonderful work! Tho I do wonder at the new title...O.o ah well, tis easier to memorize. XD |
Mary-Ann 2004-11-07 . chapter 10Reading this is the perfect way to peacefully and perfectly end a very long day. The last few paragraphs are very rewarding, not to mention the rest...
This chapter is a nice interlude from the action, allowing more indept character development. I congratulate you for having explored Aoshi's mind so well. He is a tough character to deal with, but you caught is very essence. And Saito... Can he be more Saitoish? (^-^)
A little comment tough. I'm litteraly crying over the lost of the former title. I do not like the new one much. It sounds a little cliché to my ears while "Moonlight Shinning over Snowfields" had that mysterious, poetic aura which represented the story so well.
But the story itself is wonderful. Every detail has obivously been taken care of with the greatest care. It's a delight to read it and I'm very happy about the fact that you finally updated. (^-^) |
 mithrilmine 2004-11-02 . chapter 10Hey Isabel,
Like I said before, Moonlight is bloody fascinating. ^_^ I really enjoyed the scenes with Saitou; you've nailed down my Wolf's (yes, mine!)character nicely.
And I found the indepth exploration of Misao through Aoshi's eyes very well-done and refreshing. It offers a very matured aspect of Aoshi and Misao too. |
EK (too lazy) 2004-10-29 . chapter 10 Neat, as always. Very neat Aoshi-Misao interaction, you got them down pat, Firuze-nee-san. I liked the part where their eyes met, really nice. Although, I was going: WHERE IS ENI-CHAN?! Anyways, great chapter. Sorry I make hopelessly useless reviews. I hope to read from you again soon.

kamorgana 2004-10-29 . chapter 10Hey...Knowing that you updated, I looked for the chapter and I had to modify the end of the URL of chapter 9 to get to it. The server plays hide and seek with it, it seems, and I hope that it will be solved soon because it would be a shame that people missed this PERFECT chapter.
Why perfect? Because three of my favorites are there, and I'm so deprived of decent, let alone excellent Saitoh and A/M portrayals that I enjoyed this chapter like I would enjoy a whole Nutella pot. It's so rare to find insightful and mature views on Aoshi/Misao. It's just the way they are and would behave, sale for Saitoh. Those characters I loved are taking life again and leading new adventures. I hope to find this whenever I read a fanfic and I always do reading yours.
Why perfect? Because the plot is masterful, the events are so cleverly announced and developped. Excellent. Evil you, I'm now in front of a double cliffhanger: one in Meiji with Saitoh's investigation (and A/M's little situation)...and one in the future, I haven't forgotten Enishi and Jihan.
Although I could find easily, I don't think that I need another "because"...but I do need to read more :) Take care and keep inspiration. |
