Excuse me while I go squeal like a fangirl and get all sappy and swoon the way I do whenever I watch An Affair to Remember (only, yanno, without the sobbing hysterically at the end part) I really love your descriptions of the night sky. A sky full of stars (::beats away her inner B5 fangirl::) is one of my favorite sights. Night's my favorite time of day, after all. I love Xellos' 'tragically beautiful' description of them. It reminds me of an Elton John song I've tossed around in relation to X/F before, especially in this part: "Freedom's like the stars in the sky; alone and cold and burning, each one keeps their distance, if only we were stars, you and I."

Something about Xelloss makes him a fruitcake but at the same time so "charming" as Shiver would put it that just makes you love him to death. What a complicated character! But you wrote him so nicely, dear.

Kats 2002-12-07 ch 1, anon.	abuseWow... You know, I have seen that most f/x involves some sort of, well..., in some way defying the laws of their personalities. It's all hopeless romantics who will take any shortcut to acheive their goal, no matter how cheap and unreal it would be to the storyline. This one, for a fact, goes along very smoothly and keeps what they would really do within perspective, thus coming with one of the best. I have yet to see a story that contains romance that is better than this one.
