I liked this one a lot better. Again, it's not extremely in character, but it's better than Holly's was in my opinion. I don't think Root is that stupid/oblivious. I liked the line: Did not realise he was a civilian until he ran away without saluting. Also liked Root contemplating about whether the wastebins were revolting. And I loved the line about Frond.
