This is such a genuine and fun imagining of the trio. Even though it is a lighthearted story, it gives each of the three points of the triangle a point of view. I love that someone managed to write a story that doesn't push the H/Hr or R/Hr agenda but instead focuses on the really amusing dynamic between all three. The story's style is very close to the earlier books' style, which is great.

Favorite lines: "I have all those lovely pictures in color that Viktor sent me just last week."

"Of course we did. Just not in front of you."

"I wanted to be RICH. There's a difference."

"We get it! You're both in love with Hermione! Now shut up!"

It was good. Well written. I just read your Jackie/Hyde story before this--which was brilliant!! So, I decided to give this one a try. I thought it was mostly in-character except for the nagging voice in my head that said if Harry really felt any of those things for Hermione, we probably would have had some clue by now. But all-in-all an enjoyable read.

Cuute!! I love this. I've read it somewhere else, but now that I've found it here, I can not only review but also add it to my C2! Lovely work, exploring the question that's been plaguing me for a loong while now... lmao. (I ship H/Hr, R/Hr, D/Hr, and H/D.. so Trio-shipping seems only inevitable from there... LoL!) I just wanted to say thank you for writing this amazing story. It was so hilarious. The characterization was impeccable, (though Hagrid was a bit off BUT it didn’t bother me at all).
"The Makings of a Modern Love Triangle" was written in such a way, that it felt as if the author herself wrote it. I can’t put into words how wonderful, enjoyable, witty, charming, in-depth, adorable, lengthily, dramatic, EVERYTHING that this story is.
I loved your portrayal of Draco Malfoy (he was true to his snotty and arrogant ways) his intervention with the trio at the Greenhouse was ingeniously crafted. It made me curious...why was he scrutinizing Hermione so intently like that?...I think I’ll be stuck asking myself this question for the rest of my life...
You are gifted in the arts of storytelling, and thank you again for creating this masterpiece.

I really liked that, quite different from the norm, most people have Hermione go with who they think she is best suited for. I like Hermione saying that she wouldn't choose, though if this were in Hermione's POV I wonder what she would think about all of this...

I don't really go for H/Hermione pairings, but for a story about school crushes, this is pretty darn cute. Clever and humorous. Good job.

Lovely! It's nice to read such an original flavour story. There were some odd expressions - how do donkey match red hair? - but all in all, I loved the characterisation and the development. Thank you!
