Yes actually this was very funny! Stefan's reaction to Daniel was hilarious. Also glad you explained "Pigs in blankets" because I did wonder why a pancake house would serve sausages wrapped in bacon!

FINISHED! Took me all weekend (While I was avoiding writing my lab report), but I finally finished.

I had been avoiding this story for quite a while actually, mainly because Daniel stories aren't usually my cup of tea, but I after reading at story that at the end referred to this one as their inspiration I knew I should just suck it up and read it. And thank god I did! It was awesome! Sam's my favourite character, and this story is still one of my favourite even though it only mentioned her a few times. Writing an OC character that people would fall in love with I imagine in really hard, but you succeeded! It was amazing (that last chapter made me cry a bit...), and it seriously made me visit a coffee shop to study today just because your story made me crave coffee so badly! (And it was completely worth it, the coffee was awesome, but nothing compared to Victors, I'm sure.. :-P). Anywho, Thanks for writing this amazing story, it has really made me re-think Daniel stories.

Hey there! The Barista series was completely fantastic! I just started reading it yesterday evening and just finished, moments ago - that's how drawn in I was. The story was complete, detailed and well groomed, you gotta love that. I just wished it didn't end there.

I kept seeing this story pop up on everyone's fave story list and I kept just passing it by b/c I'm not a huge Daniel fan. Finally, I thought, what the hell, I'll give it a try and I loved it :) Definitely worth being on the fave list :)

Just wanted to say I loved the fic, I'm always coming back to reread. Especially love the outside perspective, it's probably my favourite thing to read in fanfic, so this was a little pot of gold :). Doing my maths, I'm guessing your little boy's just hit one! To quote my mum, the first birthday is a celebration for the parents - you survived. So congrats!

I know you wrote this series several years ago, but I just discovered it and had to let you know how much I loved it, loved seeing our favorite characters through an 'outsiders' eyes and getting to know them in a whole new way. The ending had me about bawling, but the whole story was wonderful. I started reading a longer story that seems to be a sequel, and noticed it unfortunately isn't finished, but I hope someday you'll have time to get back to it.

I just have to say that I absolutely adored this series. You captured the characters of Jack and Daniel so well that I felt I was reading the scripts of ridiculously brilliant unaired episodes. Thank you so much for bringing this incredible saga of wonderful stargate fiction to us avid fans :) I confess that I totally read this whole series at work...and yes, I giggled out loud. Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE this story. I think this time around will be the third time I've read it, and I come back to it because it's so wonderful. It's funny and actually gets me to laugh out loud (none of that, "oh, how amusing" stuff, actually laughing) and it touches me. I adore this story!

You've probably heard from me before as I'm pretty sure I reviewed Barista at least once on your website (possibly more), but I only recently got my own FF account, and even more recently discovered that Barista was on as well, so I figured what the hell? :)

Anyway, four re-reads and less than a year and a half since I first discovered the story, the Barista series probably remains my favorite fan fiction of all time (case in point - I usually have a "don't reread for one year" rule on books and fan fic alike, so reading something four times in 18 months is saying something. ;) ).

Again, amazing job, and I can't wait until "Assistant" is updated again.
