Personally, I hated Estrid. Cowardly. Naive. Brilliant as in IQ, as you said, but not exactly piercing. I think Ax would have gotten over her a little faster -- but then, she was like the first Andalite female he'd seen in who knows how long. Overall, you did a great job describing the emotions he might have felt. *thinks, "If she wasn't such a jerk, anyway" * :)
