My first review was just in reaction to Chapter 1. Then I realized I could read the rest of the chapters too! It held my interest all the way through. I'm anxious to read the continuing story. Looking forward to more!

You did a really nice job of capturing the characters' inner lives in a snapshot. The rain imagery can be a cliche, but it worked, and that's what counts in the end. I would caution against having characters themselves thinking about your symbolism too much though! But it was very affecting, and I hope to read more!

The way make Lucy real is really nice. You can even potray Roxane and Lucy together without being insane. (Always incredible.) I'm glad you finally updated and can't wait to see what happens next.

Definitely worth the wait! I like the parallels between Lucy and Simon's stories in this chapter. Both are thinking about fleeing all their Glenoakian pain with the partners they relate best to. I'm looking forward to what lies ahead!

Ohh...do I detect a hint of Roxanne/Lucy slash? Funny how Lucy and Simon think on the same wavelength, though for different reasons. Of course, the Simon/Morris was good, and I think anyone in that family would want to get out fast. As for Roxanne, there's internal review that she and Lucy could use to try and fight back. Just a thought. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Hey I really like this story, I was looking for a good 7th Heaven story with a decent plot that was longer than a page and it was like cool- there was this story- I don't love Kevin beating Lucy and all but as you said, I don't have to be reading it so- It's a great story
