Yes, the Snape part did sucker me in. You actually write quite well and your spelling and grammar are also quite good so I was hoping you weren’t going to make it a Snape romance fic.

Sorora had a husband and she admitted to having faults, I don’t mind a bit of angst if it is done well so this scored brownie points with me. Give them faults and it’s a saving grace. I didn’t think I would like Snape having a Surprise!Sister but I did. JK hasn’t told us much about his past so it is plausible. It is evident that Snape does care for his sister (although he keeps it well hidden) and is annoyed by this fact as he unwillingly seems to help her out. The little hero moment for Neville was a nice touch.

I like the way the events of the story shook up the wizarding world and that you managed to keep everyone more or less in character. I’m also a stickler for remaining true to the facts stated in the books and you did that well also.

I also enjoyed the way you ended it off with a few things still left hanging. I don’t think it would have rung true if Sorora and Severus had suddenly become the best of friends just because they are on the same side in the end. Relationships in real life need to be worked on and so do those one represents in writing if you want it to have any degree of realism. I’m sure they’ll get there eventually (:

Peter’s death was a bit of a let down, done so casually but I suppose that is somehow a metaphor to how much Voldemort thought he mattered, right? Harry thought he could threaten him with the death of the servant but Voldemort ends up killing Wormtail in the end, almost as an after thought. I can tell you put a lot of thought into these things, giving them layers for those of us that think way too much about things and analyse them to death!

That said I think I will finish up here.
