Bitter yet sweet. so sad! i really liked how you caught a scene from the movie and wrote the fic. it reminded me that merry and pippin were horrified but they stil did draw their swords and tried to fight the orcs. _ wai boromir was so determined .. too bad he died _ sniff. i like i like :D

That was a very well put together fic, I enjoyed it a lot. I think you did an excellent job catching Boromir's character and holding on to it. There was one minor mistake, it was one of those where you're thinking of one word but push the wrong key. But other than that it was really good. Bravo, I can't wait to read more.

Lovely reflections from the son of Gondor. Ruminations before death are always a tricky thing, but I think you captured them smoothly.

He did admire the Hobbits; you can see it in his eyes every time he looks at them. I could hear his voice speaking to me through this story, and that was an excellent feeling.
