This was a nice, light-hearted glimpse at Serenity's crew in a slow period. I liked it.

Great story. Liked the last chapter the best, especially wash's present and Zoe's response. Made me laugh.

I don't think I can articulate just how *adorable* this story is. And it stays very true to all the characters, as they behave in their more lighthearted moments. I could very easily imagine this story happening on the show, if by some fluke no doom befell them for a whole episode. Of course, I think they deserve a break from doom every now and then.

All in all, the story was impressively well-written, and I enjoyed it far too much. Thank you. :)

I came across your story and it really put a smile on my face. You did a grat job captuing the characters. Hope you have continued on writing.

I just wanted to stop and sat that this was one of the best Firefly storys that I have read so far.

All the gifts fit the characters and loved the way Jayne got after he got the coal.

Anyway I hope that there is some more Firefly fic in your future. I really enjoyed the way you wrote the characters.

Omigosh, this story -- it's just so ... *right*. The way the characters talk, the way they relate to each other, the blend of humor and melancholy -- it's Firefly. It's perfect. You do an especially good job with Jayne -- 90% cynical, sarcastic, backstabbing **, 10% big puppy. And the plot, of course, was a whole lot of fun, and kept me guessing until the end. (I was totally wrong on all my guesses -- except for whose gift came from the toy store!) Definitely going on my favorites!
