Oh, my. This is truly stunning. You have Rosiel and his relationship with Katan down to a T. Seriously, like my biggest complaint about this story is that I think you may have used the word 'lucid' too much xD I guess introspective fics like this can get a bit tedious - it's easier to read something with a lot of action and dialogue, you know? - that's the only reason I can think of for why this doesn't have like three times as many reviews. I think you understand these characters really well, and you expressed Rosiel's hopeless situation beautifully; it made my heart ache. And there's such tension between him and Katan - heh, there often is; whenever I read fics about these two, I always worry that Katan is going to wind up getting hurt, and of course it could just as easily turn into something shonen-ai-y (not exactly as 'worrying', lol, but still often very angsty)... Also, I like the sound of "As long as Katan stayed with him it 'might' be all right in the end..."; it reminds me of the end of the series t_t Great fic!

Rociel and Katan... *attempts to stop breathless squeals* But you do them so WELL- the instinctive boundaries they both have towards each other, the unwavering loyalty and yet fear of Katan, Rociel's desperate and all-consuming need for acknowledgement and love...

It's a very interesting take on Rociel's thought process, as well. A moment of sanity in the whirlwind he can't control. I thought it was very tactfully and fantastically done, as well- introspective and regretful with fear of himself, but also with the understanding of the fact he can't stop it. Very nice. And the writing, as usual, was breathtakingly pretty. It didn't occur to me until now, but you write AS in a style that seems similar to the way Kaori Yuki draws- tragically beautiful, highly emotional, and with a precise attention to detail in an aesthetic sense. It's part of what I enjoy, it that makes any sense so far... an Angel Sanctuary fic should be written in the manner of how it feels to read the manga. _

And yay! Katan! Katan was, without a doubt, a perfect characterization. Loved Rociel's thoughts on him. So god.

This is a wonderfully beautiful story. The descriptions are wonderful, making the lack of speech even more powerful. You're obviously a big fan of Rociel and Katan, who are my favourite AS characters. I'll be looking out for more of your work.
