:-D:-D:-D Simply wonderful and hilarious! What a POV! I was LOL over so many things in this story. The rings very. um. friendly thoughts about Bilbo, Gollum & Co. were so FUNNY! I could hardly catch my breath again! But the very best thing was the following line: "I'd roll into the fires of Mount Doom for him" - _for_ him. Oh, and I liked the twitch on Vilya. Simply great!
Another thing that pleased me very well was the thought that Sauron might not have realized _how_ evil the ring had become - glorious, gorgeous, great!

That was.in a word.hilarious! I sat here giggling and bubbling with laughter! Whoever thought that the Ring might have such feelings! Well, you obviously! It is SO funny to see what it thinks of its various bearers - whether it is Sauron who sends no voice mail in an age, or Gollum all sickly green lumps, or the old hobbit it wants to kill, though it really must try to control those old urges to mass destruct someone or someones. I think old Bilbo might be horrified if he could hear the things it thinks! I hope I hope I hope that you are going to continue with this. There is so much more for the Ring to contemplate and nitpick about. And tell Bilbo to wash his hands after eating bacon. It does leave smudges on the nice gold finish.

You should definitely write more, about all the adventures Ringy has until he meets his (untimely) end. Like...when he encounters Galadriel, or when Boromir tries to take him, or later when he meets Gollum again, and then when the "stupid, fat hobbit" takes him, and then when he finally takes the final plunge.
