This, so far, is my favorite of yours. Such bitter-sweet introspection, especially on Lavender's part since, like the Slytherins, you never get to see an in-depth look at her in the books. She's just the "gossip", along with Parvati... or was it Padma? Damn, which one's in Gryffindor? Oh well...
