I thought this story was very well written and full of emotion. It was so sad it actually made me shed a tear *sniffle*...

I love your 'reincarnation' idea for the sequel! It's absolutely brilliant! Do you know which animal you had in mind? I was thinking either an Eye-Eye or a jungle cat...? U

Rock on! U *U*

Ever-so sincerely signed,

Shizuku Tsukishima749 :D ;D :) ;)

P.S.- By the way, this was really sad! It's hard to see everybody so down, but especially that Eliza died. I love that girl!

Hey, I guess I should have read this before Sister 2 yesterday shouldn't I? But put the two together, and it's really good! My eyes were watering when Eliza passed away, even though I don't really like Wild Thornberrys that much...please update the second one soon!

May all the creatures of the woodlands urinate in your flowerbeds for writing such a piece of filth as this! . . . Nah, just kidding. You said you wanted creative flames so I gave you one. But seriously, this is a great fic. It didn't seem rushed to me. I really felt for Debbie. This fic (and the episode it was based on) really hits home for me because my mom had a bad case of appendicitis. I cried when I saw her in the hospital. But she survived, thank God.

I agree with Paru-chan: a fic where Debbie talked to animals would be neat. Especially since she doesn't like animals. I can picture all these animals yappin' at her and her saying, "Get away from me!" But I guess that would fit more into the humor category than angst. Hm, the reincarnation idea sounds wierd, but it might be good.

I was thinking, maybe a fic that has Debbie inhieriting Eliza's ability to talk to animals would be neat.

This story almost make me cry. I have a fondness for Eliza Thornberry . I know she's a so-called fictional character but, sometimes I wonder if GOD doesn't have something else in mind.

before i say anything else, this story is excellent and while as i never would think of debbie's thoughts having such a clear way of presenting themselves (sue me they make her too much of a blonde bimbo most of the time) (actually, on second thought don't sue me... you won't get much money outs the deal anyways) the story was still a worthwhile read... now as for a sequal, because i HAVE to put my 2 cents in (not that i even have that but, oh well) it all depends on the direction you want to go, you can write about what happens to her family in the aftermath from eliza's perspective a-la lovely bones (you should read it if you haven't it's by alice seabold, very good book) or you could go with the animal thing, though that doesn't have the same feeling to it, or you could focas in on debbie by having her either gain the ability to talk with animals or have her begin to see eliza as she might have been, ie they're driving in say africa a year later and she closes her eyes and can see eliza sitting next to darwin, her braces off, brushing her hair while reading a book or enjoying the scenery but then blinks and it's vanished, you can even go really supernatural and have her see eliza and talk to her then, sort of a hah you can talk to animals i can talk to ghosts deal. but these are just suggestions and none of them need be used

*Sniffles*, *eyes r full of tears* that's one of

the sadest stories i've ever read. *Shudders*, I

really didn't know what to expect from this story.

I really thought it wasn't gonna be this sad, but

as far as sad stories go that was a pretty good

story. Now I also know that u know what...makes...

me...cry...4...real, oh well! Bye byez

I know what you could do for a sequal. you tell a

story of how it is like after their funeral. Which is very sad. I loved that story.
Crystal Millennium 2/13/03 . chapter 2
A sequel . . . hmmm. Well, if you want to go with the reincarnation idea, I have a couple of segestions. First off, the animal that Eliza becomes should seem very wise and mysterious; too intelligent for a normal animal. Also, she should suspect why she feels that she needs to belong with this family, and for whatever reason, they need her help. Plus, I think that Eliza would make a good cat or fox. Both can project the "proper mystique". 'Sister' is a very good story, BTW. I like it. :)
