your story is so sad but so sweet. when ben died i almost cried. i loved it so, write some more. :)

OMG, that was so sad!! But beautiful!! I always wondered what it would be like if Ben survived somehow and got to meet Alec!! I loved reading you're story, it made me cry!!

That's a really tough way to learn a lesson. I'm glad that Alec and Max finally admit their feelings for one another and get together for real...I hate that Ben died though. Seems like such a waste. A real tragedy.

Logan got off way too easy.

Alec is too good of a man to do anything as cowardly as what Logan did. So even though Logan deserved to have his butt kicked and worse...Alec wouldn't stoop to his level.

Good for Sketchy he didn't want them. He should have destroyed them though instead of keeping them around.

Poor Ben.

First of all I'd like to say thank you for writing a story where Ben survives. His death was so tragic. What he did was wrong, but he had been so messed up by Manticore...the poor boy's life was totally tragic...I wish it could have gone another way in the show. I really like Ben and I like that Alec and Ben get along. I think its really sweet.

It's cool too that he has been so readily accepted and I hope it stays that way. If that poor boy gets the shaft again, I'M going to cry. Right now, I'm really wanting to slap the 'you-know-what' out of Logan...if he hurts that boy...(pow!)

Please let Ben stay sweet...he doesn't strike me as a character to relapse into madness and I hope he doesn't. He has so much other potential and his personality is different from Alec's. Ben seems to be more soft spoken and low key. Alec is a bit of a handful...a very pleasant handful though.

Maybe I've got it all wrong but here's my opinion...and in answer to your question...

Ben's not gay. Yes he shed a tear or two, but he has been severely taumatised.

It took alot of courage to make contact with Max. He was unsure if Max would reject him because of his past. He has been alone and isolated in a world that was so cold and lonely before.

He was turned mentally inside out and was very confused. He begged Max to kill him so Manticore wouldn't get their hands on him. He was terrified of what they would do to him...and they got a hold of him anyway and was made to suffer who knows what horrors before he escaped again.

When he did escape he thought the one person who was really important to him hated him, was digusted with him because of what he had done. However, it appeared that she was accepting him though and he found a twin. A brother, well, clone who befriends him without question and gains a job and possibly more friends.

When Logan drops the bombshell on his new found life - a life that seemed so good and so inviting...his world shattered...or so he thought.

I guess this entitles him to a tear or two. Just as long as he doesn't get blubbery all the time.

Aw that was a nice way to end it. I liked it.

Ben gay? Haha, that's funny! I don't think he's gay so much as a little more open about himself than Alec. We all got to see Alec more than Ben so it's not as easy to write what he might be like. Well thats my impression anyways. I guess I should see how it goes huh?

This is bound to get real interesting! Have I told how much I adore this fic?
