I just read all three parts. A very interesting take on Luke and the dinner. I also like how you put Lorelai in there. I too find it strange that the two of them never met before she got the house. The only way that that could be was if she never went into town. I don't see that happening. Plus. Luke used to do handyman stuff for Mia all the time to help her out. Just odd. It's a bit strange now that we know more of there history years later. I also thought Liz was Luke's little sister. She always refers to him as her big brother. I don't know when I first heard it though, probably after you published this. I really liked your take on everything though. Great Job!

Really great story. you should write more. Like different days same time period. It was great I enjoyed reading.

I have no words to say how *cute* this trilogy is. The little details that would be revealed later in the series, Patty's 'finally legal' comment was SO in place. Really good.

Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed reading your story. This is just how a flashback episode on the actual show could be, it just fits the show so well and still it's new territory. You've done a really good job!

I actually re-read the story again and I gotta say, I'm proud of you, kiddo.

I cannot say I'm an expert when it comes to JJ fics or even Luke fics. But what I can say without a doubt is that this is a beautiful story. It plays out the character dynamics in a subtle fashion. Just the way I like it. Just the way it should be.

You could've made a big deal out of Luke's attire, you didn't. You could've made a big deal out of Kirk's need for a father figure, you didn't. You could've made a big deal out of Luke and Lorelai banter, but you didn't. You could've made Rory read War and Peace at a that age, but you didn't. A lesser author would've done all of the above, and ruin the story along with it.

Keep up the good work and maybe I should have gone back and check out more JJ fics.

P.S. My only regret is that you didn't made a big deal out of Iris and Chad. :sigh:
