Goodness. That was great. So funny. Seriously, I loved it. The way Willow was describing math... I'm curious though as to how she was gonna describe the fractions. *grins* Excellent job.

six and eight ARE nasty and horrible numbers. But your story isn't. your story is the opposite of horrible and nasty! Yay! : )

heh that was amusing. I particularily liked the part:

Since you know so much about Muggles, do you happen to know what Muggle kids do while wizard kids are owling each other and playing with their first booksticks?"

Draco shook his head slightly, a faint smile still playing around his mouth.

Willow put her hands on the table and leaned forward until she was looking Draco right in the eye.

"They study math." Willow said meaningfully.

I'm glad someone else noticed that apart from learing magic a wizard's education is pitiful. Even muggle born wizards stop learning muggle subjects at sixth grade. Seriously, I am so amused that a professor in the wizarding world has less knowledge of muggle high school subjects then a high school drop out. I know a lot of that stuff you never use cough*chemistry*cough but you'd think a professor would at least need some of it.
I wonder if there is a wizarding primary school after all hogwarts students are expected to be able to read and write and based on those essays they have to write, know grammer.

I think I may have read and reviewed this on Twisting the Hellmouth, since I obviously didn't review it here, and I know I've read it before...anyway, I just thought I'd drop a line here to say, again, that I love this - evil numbers and all! Leave it to Willow to find the perfect way to teach Algebra to the Evil-wizard-in-training.

Thanks for writing! ~"~
