Interesting start - Paranoid hurt Snape always makes for an interesting relationship. As usual Harry will have his work cut out for him.

Hi Lexin: Very well written, bringing lots of sympathy for Snape and I always love when Harry's written as compassionate and empathic to others. Great beginning and set-up for the rest of the story! Dumbledore's a conniving old bastard, isnt' he.

Quite possibly the only believable version of this plot that I'll ever read. You've captured Snape's heartache and reluctance very well. I very much like your version of Harry - his wearied compliance with Dumbledore, and Dumbledore as "benevolent" manipulator has never been more unsettling.

Bravo for a wonderful take on an overused and usually unbelievable plot. I'm intrigued and want to read more of this.
