(Overall review) Beautiful story! You really took Ash and Misty's relationship through an emotional rollarcoaster that engrossed me from beginning to end. I loved how this fanfic intricately went into both sides of their relationship, enabling us to know exactly what was going through their minds. The inclusion of minor characters like Brock and Daisy were welcomed additions, too (and thanks for making Daisy less valley-girl-ish). The ending was also very fitting, and very beautiful. You did an excellent job with this story.

Though this is quite an old story, I just felt so compelled to write a review. This was an incredibly emotional story and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Your grammar is perfect and you display the characters with so much depth and description that I can almost picture the scenes in my head.

All in all, a great read and I hope you decide to rejoin your gift in writing.

Let me say this right away, "Too Far?" was a Fantastic Story!

You seemed to capture and re-create the elements of Ash and Misty from the t.v. show and put them into an era years ahead in the future. That is no easy task and I compliment you immensely on it! However, while reading many of the chapters towards the middle, I got the impression I was reading a bit too far into what Misty was like in the past, more than how a lesson from the past will give me more knowledge into what's going on in her and Ash's mind.

Great introduction, awesome ending, and just a superior story to many I've read! Awesome Job! 8-)

The ending is perfect. A wonderful ending to a great story! I can relate to how hard it would be to decide whether or not to date your best friend, because I "dated" (online and did meet), a guy who I actually met here, at this site! Awhile back, of course. Years ago.

We became WONDERFUL friends, and dated after we met (we'd been talking nonstop for two years at that point). Things didn't work out...(long distance), and I have started to find him annoying, and he keeps trying to get me to "forgive him" and be his great ol' buddy again. Hah. It was a mutual breakup, but I don't want to make him think I'll date him again.

Either way (I'm babbling), dating a friend really can ruin that friendship...as it did mine. But it can also make it blossom and grow, just like your story showed. Thanks for writing this. I enjoyed every word!

Haha, Brock is a little behind the times. Well, personally, I think this has been great! One more to go!
