Heh! I loved this. I always thought it was slightly unfair that the fell beast missed its target in the Osgiliath scene... Seemed just too miracle-like. Very good fic.

Too funny! And only too logical if you think about it. I too wondered by the flying beast didn't just snatch up Frodo at once.

So was the overdose of Hobbit what gave the creature a belly ache or was it the Ring? Nice that old Angmar took care of it, rather than simply slitting it open on the spot to retrieve the Ring! Angmar as veterinarian... scary thought!
