SuperHyperBerryBomb 2004-02-03 . chapter 1I’m sorry that I left mean, rude and offensive comments on you story. |
Vampire-Jesse 2003-05-21 . chapter 1Samwise the Brave and Rosie, his Lover... ahem in other words my two cats... well, they say they love your fic. It was truly beautiful, better as the other one.
Oh, and I loved the way you put Arwen's phrase in it! You know... the shadow does not hold sway yet, not over you, not over me... Simply great! |
P1 2003-03-19 . chapter 1 Nice, sweet. Your a good slash writer. Keep it up. |
sugahcat 2003-02-22 . chapter 1I liked it :) Sweet and very well written. |
Marauder 2003-01-30 . chapter 1"There was no embarassment, there was no wrong, only the light"...I think that is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. |
Stephica 2003-01-24 . chapter 1 Bite me pixiegal. I bet a hundred bucks you didn't read the books before the movies came out, so don't act like you're some sort of expert. From looking at your Mary Sue fics that are based on movie characters, I see that you have no right at all to even use Tolkiens name. Wow, I just finished looking at your fics, I have never seen such a blatant placing of oneself in fics. Keep that in your head from now on, ok? |
SuperHyperBerryBomb 2003-01-23 . chapter 1FOR SAM, HE WAS BOUND TO FRODO BECAUSE HE WAS HIS GARDENER!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T PEOPLE BE FRIENDS WITHOUT BBEING GAY?!!!!!!>:((((((((((( |
LadyBush 2003-01-21 . chapter 1 Why can't Sam and Frodo be gay? I personally think there is two ways in which to interpret their relationship and both are fine.
This story perfectly captures the innocence and closeness of the hobbits and I don't think Tolkien would have minded at all. Soulmates!
Great story. Keep writing! LadyBushxx |
ZoSo the Twirp 2003-01-20 . chapter 1Aww! So cute. Heehee, they are obvious. This is very well written, write more please! Oh, and to those of you who think that just because someone writes slash means they don't understand friendship is mistaken themselves. When slash is written in a nice and classy way, as in this one, there can be nothing wrong with it. What in the heck is wrong with soulmates? I know I'd love to have someone so devoted to me that they'd follow me into Hell and back (but then again, I am a pervy Sam fancier, so there). It's true Tolkien never said right out that Frodo and Sam were anything more than friends, but this is FANfiction, and it's not meant to offend people or disgrace the characters, so there's nuffin' wrong with it. Blah. |
Godforsaken 2003-01-20 . chapter 1*claps* Godforsaken likes very much! Frodo/Sam is the only bit of sappiness I can ever stand. *wipes tears from eyes* I love it! It's so sweet! And yeah, Frodo and Sam are *very* "cute and obvious;" in TTT it gets aggravating because you're sitting there the whole time going "JUST KISS 'N' GET IT OVER WITH!" and...well...I saw that movie again yesterday, for the third time, so I needed a dose of nice Frodo/Sam fluff. Thank youse. This was just what I needed. |
 FrodosFantasy 2003-01-20 . chapter 1Amazing!!! Beautiful story :) |
pixiegal927 2003-01-19 . chapter 1First of all, I'll just say that I have nothing against gay men. Many of my friends are gay. It's wonderful when two men can be in love and open about it. I do, however, have a problem with the quickly spreading misconception of Frodo and Sam's friendship. Let me clear something up for you, because you are obviously confused or misinformed.
The one thing that shows true lack of knowledge regarding Frodo and Sam's relationship is when a writer creates a slash between the two hobbits. It is painfully obvious that you do not understand the concept of friendship. There are NO romantic or homosexual feelings between Frodo and Sam. Contrary to your belief, men can love each other without being gay - the same way that women can love each other without being lesbians.
To write something like this is beyond disrespectful. Tolkien is probably turning over in his grave; he would be extremely ashamed of you to read this. |
