I like how you explained Ania's situation. I wonder how Ania will cope when she no longer experences events that are in the books she read. Maybe she will get the gift of knowing like she will know what would have happen as if she had read the books. I wonder why is Ania there. While the weave do not effect her like others whose lives are threads in the pattern she can still effect what is going on because she knows what will happen. Maybe you can make Ania the Creator's chosen. The Dark One has chosen called the Forsaken so why can't the Creator have chosen. If you don't want her to be a Chosen she can be a type of Ta'veren, one who have a unique Creator given function, she can be the Ta'veren of Fate for example. She can work to change things to the way they should be. She can save lives, change events and in doing so help the Light win. There has to be a reason why she is there besides just hanging back and watching the events of the books unfold around her. Did you know that someone will write the the last Wheel of Time book called In Memory of Light, which is currently due to come out in 2009. I hope you will take up writting this story again.

Excellent descriptions, I love your use of words.
I find it fascinating to have words such as "thou, thy" etc in this tale. Never thought the people in Robert Jordan's world would speak the language used by the humans in our modern world centuries ago.
It reminds me a bit of David Edding's writings. He used such language in the Belgariad and Malloreon series as well.

Not bad, surprisingly. I was a bit worried I'd found my first WoT MS, but Ania seems to be under control. *In the background a faint "Mother's milk in a cup!" is heard, presumably from somebody wanting to... deal with the Sue.* I'd be careful about affecting canon or letting the CC know too much, though.

WOW! I love it! Definately not your run-of-the-mill-insert-fangirl-into-world-where-she-can-fall-for-the-main-character story, and I love it. Very funny. I was grinning the whole way through - it takes something extremely funny or Monty Python to make me laugh. You could perhaps make the characters more like themselves. Rand was great, just the right balance of arrogance and uncertainty for this time of the series. Moiraine, though... well, my memory of her isn't that great, but from what I can remember, she wasn't so easygoing. Otherwise, I find it difficult to fault. Good job.
