Partner in crime indeed! You really can't help but love kids, for all their pettiness and destruction, they're just so awesome. ^_^ Haha, poor Kenshin... Misao is such a great manager, really.

“AWW…W…W…W” – this is probably the best statement one could make for this story. I will admit - it did seem to lack a certain… conflict. After Misao’s injury – there was never any more confusion of feelings (despite their history portraying constant misunderstandings). However, your attention to every LOVING detail and your ability to show each character through-and-through including their logic, and thought process, as well as their feelings and reactions to emotional situations was supurb and kept my interest. Wonderful Job!

Stuffing thick files in your shirt would certainly look odd, wouldn't you have an angular bulge? Just had another though, if you had index cards and stuck them in your shirt you can make it look like a six pack if you arrange them correctly.

I just thought of comparing Misao with me and Aoshi my dog when she was trying to get him to take the papers. I was imagining her trying to coax a dog to take a biscut. When my dog was a puppy the icecream man that came by about once a week saw him and gave me a giant biscut to give to Ace. That was so nice of him! Later I tried giving Ace the biscut, but he wasn't interested so it ended up going to Peach, my mother's friend's dog when they came over to visit and we had Peach and Ace stay in the yard. Both were puppies. Peach was a mini schnauzer and Ace was a St. Bernard.
Anyways, sorry I babbled on like that, that scene just had reminded me of that vaguly.

This was probably the first story of yours I read, and I was very happy to find it finished- when i read it- and I still love the maturity of Misao and the trust Aoshi displays, it wasn't OOC, which makes me so happy. You display their characters both so well... Ja ne!

I loved the ending. It had a softness to it that felt beautifully serene and a touch of humor.
I would love to read a sequel, but some stories are best left as they had ended. What I'm saying is that it would be lovely if you wrote a sequel, but I'm not begging for one. Do you understand what I mean?
