abuseWell color me retarded... I meant the opening for "Objects in Space." 'Cause, with the music and all. "War Stories" had an opening of tiny feet in huge combat boots.

abuseOh. My. God. That rocked. I'm trying to find something wrong with this so I don't sound like a gushing brown-noser, but it's impossible. At first it looked like someone armed with a thesaurus was typing up a suicidy-goth "this is where this character is going because ain't nowhere else left for them to go and I can't think of any other avenues for the poor bastard" fic. But I kept reading. And found it impossible to answer my chat windows I had open until I was finished. Characterizations were dead-on, dialogue perfect, prose excellent, atmosphere not unlike the opening for "War Stories." I swear I actually heard that hauntingly beautiful music. I have no complaints; shiny!

abuseWow. I seriously love your work - you know this, I've raved to you before. :) I just LOVE the way you write River. So perfect. (And me being me I really enjoyed seeing Jayne in this one. Especially her thoughts about him, and the line at the end about him and Kaylee - too cute!)

I really loved that you worked everyone in this fic, seeing them all in her eyes. Her head. Awesome. And the descriptions of her cutting herself trying to get the noise out - friggin amazing. You seriously rock! Write more soon. :)

abuseWow. Powerful and stunning little River piece. Your use of language in particular is just enormously affecting. This is rife with little soft touches, and I completely love your take on Simon and River's relationship, and how it strains both of them as well as anchors them. Excellent work!
