I always thought he was cool... alas, he was a nice guy, so of course, he got possessed. Isn't that always the way it works? If you live in Nosgoth, and you're nice, you always die in horrible ways (i.e. Magnus, Mortanius, Janos Audron, Raziel the list goes on and on...) Actually, I think Mortanius DID like Ariel in the original Blood Omen, but if I remember correctly, due to the fact that it really had nothing to do with anything, it was cut. There was a FMV where Morty kills Anacrothe (I won't humiliate the poor dead guy by calling him Annie) and Anacrothe apparently said something about Morty liking Ariel, but alas, that was cut too. Do you know if this is true? |
