Aw poor Amelia. Once again, a great chapter. My only concern was with Alfred. If this takes after TRY, he should be dead. That was the oly confusing part to me. Otherwise, really great! I still feel bad for Amelia...

Illisea- WOohoo! I found a good LG story. I don't find these very often anymore.

Erm... Thought I had it spelled out clearly that the Ra Tilt sketch in the anime was WRONG. According to Hajime Kanzaka, the creator of Slayers, spirit magic CAN BE USED against people. Amelia used it on a person as her 'sure kill spell' and everyone was shocked it didn't work as he had taken the pledge of immortality. In Kanzaka's novels they have been used effectively on people repeatedly and as he is the creator and source of Slayers- he's the authority that counts.
Second, the thing with Phil does seem out of character for him from JUST what Amelia says. That's all that's been stated as his side of the story doesn't get told until the end, where he gets the chance to justify his actions and his foreward thinking is rather evident there.

I'm liking this, but I wanted to point out that a Ra Tilt doesn't hurt physical beings. Lina wouldn't be hurt at all. Remember, they even went over what a Ra Tilt did in a little "omake" and when someone cast it at Gourry it had no effect.
I also don't agree that Phil would be that mean to make Amelia marry her uncle. Not to mention that he seemed to be a little more "forethinking" than other leaders of kingdoms and I'm pretty sure he would not mind Zelgadis. After all, he didn't mind Lina at all, who everyone else in the world seemed to fear and despise. Why would they go after her? You're making the rest of the Slayers world out to be like the Golden Dragons who followed the Fire Dragon king. They're not, lol.
Sorry to burst the bubble of your plot. Maybe there's another way Amelia could have run away from home. I think this could be really good if you just fixed those plot holes.

Overall this story was pretty good. The plot was interesting, even though it tended to get sidetracked into another plot. Which actually describes the world of the slayers (which tends to get off of the actually storyline plot from time to time) very well.
I do have some minor complaints about this story, however. Please do not take offense.
First of all many of the characters were really OOC in my opinon.
Secondly Naga's name is spelled Gracia not Garcia
Lastly, in the beginning of the story, Towermere tried to kill Lina with the "Ra Tilt". In Season 1, they described quite clearly how the "Ra Tilt" can't work on humans, so even if it had penetrated Lina it wouldn't have done anything anyway.
Those things aside, you did a nice job on this story.

This was a very nice read. :) It had the right amount of humor and plot which gave it a "Slayers" feel. It's too bad there isn't going to be a sequel... but I hope that you'll write more Slayers fanfics in the future.

Dynast's general is not named Sarah. Her name is actually Sherra.

Wounderful story. When will they get rid off Towermere for good? Will Amelia be change back to normal? Will Amelia give up the throne or will she have to marry someone the court will aprove? Hope to read the next chap. soon.
