Ur evil! u made me burst into tears! i was so attached 2 this story and then u killed my vision of a happy ending!

now love of my life makes sense. For some reason i didnt realise it had a first part. I really enjoyed it. Now i cant wait to make another start on the sequel as hopefully this time i will get it.

NO one says the "like" 2 or 3 times in a sentance.

your story is good and the chapters are fine but you need to stop putting paragraphs at the end of a chapter.

i love it so much. the characters are fantastic. there is only one i am not too keen on but i never am or was so nothing changed and that is scott. fantastic story though.

sorry to not review every chapter but i have not had enough time and i want to continue reading so much that i leave off reviewing so i will give you a nice long review at the end and maybe some before then i don't know. anyway for the important stuff. I LOVE this story. it is fabulous and i really want to know what is going to happen.

I really liked your story. I specially loved all those Beast scenes, unfortunately you never get to see him much in fanfic. I, personally, find him so interesting and smart. I love him. But of course, I like Remy better and somehow I knew Remy wouldn’t remember Rogue (maybe I was thinking about “Just like Heaven”. I love that movie), and I think you did the right thing making him forget. But I’m also relieved to know there’s a sequel. *runs to read it*

Okay, I've got something that I've needed to get off my chest for ages regarding this chapter. Never mind, make that two things.

Even without makeup, Rogue's looks are distinctive enough that I find it very hard to believe people wouldn't recognize her just because she washed her face and put on a pretty sweater.

Also, if Rogue really were a native Parisian, what on earth would she be doing in an American high school French class? Duncan accepting her about that I can almost believe, as he's an idiot, but the teacher? Nope, I can't buy it.

(I also have that issue with Remy showing up in French class in other stories)

Hi,I'm one of those annoying people that read Love of My Life before turning my attention to this little gem. I have to tell you that Love of My Life was amazing, I already left a review on that story but I just want to reiterate my love for it. Reading this story after that was interesting. I liked this story, if for nothing else than that it is the forerunner of Love of My Life. I could see you laying the ground work for it throughout Giddy. You really did a wonderful job. As I was reading I noticed how perfect Remy seemed and I saw how different he was as a psyche is her head. I missed that brooding, angst ridden cajun that was portrayed in Love of My Life. Honestly I like the "real" version of him much better than the Remy in Rogue's mind. I mean seriously, if a man were that empathetic (ha,ha...I know that he's an empath) I wouldn't be interested. Rogue may not understand that in this story but men that understand you and your motivations are not very attractive in the real world. I want conflict and passion and how can you achieve that if your man is constantly telling you that he understands. Where's the fun in that? There is no real drama in a relationship that is built on complete comprehension of one's partner, and Rogue and Gambit are nothing if not dramatic. It was just too easy for them to fall in love in this story. It borderd on cliche. Rogue didn't even put up much of a fight she just fell for him. You fixed all that in Love of My Life. Rogue fought and Gambit ran away, it was much more interesting. I'm thoroughly impressed with your imagination. I love that there was no happy ending in this story...it paved the way for something truly brilliant. I hope that you start writing again, although I know the chances are slim. I don't want a continuation of Love of My Life because I don't think that you should mess with something that works so well, but I would really like to see something else from you. Thanks for doing such a great job.

Just popping by to say that after all these years (5 years and 2 days since the first chapter was published, wow) I started thinking about your story and now I'm here to reread it. And the sequel too, of course. It's kinda weird to think that I first read this when I was in junior high and now I'm in uni making a comeback to this fandom. :D Hope that you've been well, too, and that you're still around feeling and proud of your work as you should be.
