I most certainly hope not! The epilogue makes you wonder if there was some ulterior motive for Charlotte's little scheme besides getting the inheritance.

You pulled off the "mistaken identity" business very well. Jeff and Alan's intial confusion was perfectly played, as was their dawning realization that the redhead was not the conniving Charlotte. I expect that Em will be making her presence keenly felt at Tracy Island; with her mechanical aptitude there would be plenty of work there.

A sequel would be highly appreciated.

Very dramatic. I've been reading this since... um, since before you left it for a long time and came back to it.
Poor Gordon: doesn't sound like he's in a good way. I sure feel bad for Em!! And Jeff keeps thinking the worst. You must write the next chapter son. We're on the edge of our seats.
