A Bibliophile 2008-03-03 . chapter 1they should get an emo corner. Everyone will go there to angst. It will be very crowded. |
Emina 2007-12-30 . chapter 1 This story really moved me (along with 'I'm Already There') and Yuuichi actually reminds me of someone I know... It's a 'she' though and when she was young she also just knew her father through the phone (though her father wasn't really in any kind of work that required him to not be there) and she always thought highly of her father but it turns out that... oh well maybe I shouldn't talk about those things!
Anyways I just wanted to say that I loved this fanfiction (and all your other ones as well) and that you're a great author! Keep up the good work! |
NotoriousBlue 2007-11-04 . chapter 1 Wonderful Wonderful! I love it! i can't wait to get started on Coming Home! |
nobody 2007-06-28 . chapter 1 So what do we have to do to get a continuation? Loved it somewhat as its bittersweet which makes it all the better. I so hope you continue this. I want to see Shinichi come home and all that stuff. You must be a good writer I got teary eyed reading that and I try my best not to when reading. Excellent job and PLEASE continue! |
luna nuova 2006-08-23 . chapter 1must you always leaves me hanging like that? |
kevinlp 2006-07-17 . chapter 1Loved it. You do an excellent job at keeping everyone in character. Most people simply struggle with that. Great job! |
Basser 2006-05-14 . chapter 1Good god, that nearly brought tears to my eyes. I'm trying really hard to think of something to write besides "Poor Conan!!" but I really can't. xD So.. **.. Sad.. And yet, sweet at the same time. Love it, dear. Definitely going on to read the next one.. Maybe impart some fanart, too. ;) |
 Teldra 2005-12-24 . chapter 1Wonderful story :) |
DragonLadie 2005-08-25 . chapter 1Heheh, right after I reviewed the last story of this series, I discovered this one! In spite of your disclaimer, I think it is just as amazing as the first story, and definately builds the drama! You've got a great start to a chapter story here! I would eagerly read more of this if you felt inspired to write it! As with the last one, I'd love your permission to host this at my site!

Sapphire Blue Priestess 2005-06-08 . chapter 1A beautiful sequel, full of emotions, suspense, and the kind of angsty feeling that leaves the reader in tears, yet wanting more of it. I almost cried again reading this one. Poor Conan; I really do sympathise with him. It probably hurts so much to see Ran and Yuuichi everyday and yet not being able to tell them who he really is. Amazing.

 kalli_psyche 2005-01-02 . chapter 1 i cried...again...
i think i'm falling in love with this pairing... a lot of angst and love around... the parts i liked best were the flashbacks Ran had about Conan... still very touching, sad and beautiful. |
Fyliwion 2004-11-29 . chapter 1*applauds* Honestly this is really well written and really intresting. Its different and its awesome. Though it really makes you choke up.. XD I mean.. poor Conan, and his parents *sniffles* Anywho. Now off to read the full story *winks* |
**PRIVATE** 2004-08-23 . chapter 1 You have to make a sequel to this.I'm not one those people who like a *leave ya hanging*ending. |
Tomorrow 2004-07-29 . chapter 1Just to let you know: I'm checking all four of the boxes beneath the review screen... and that's not something I do very often.
I can only say this: I just recently became aware of "Case Closed/Detective Conan," and instantly I wanted some quality Ran/Shinichi stories. I would try my hand at one myself, but I don't know enough about their characters for a proper attempt. To me, character portrayal is of utmost importance. However... you just fulfilled my wish.
This... this is so amazing. I've never read a story, in this genre, like it. The emotion was raw, made me want to cry, and made my gut wrench. My heart went out to Shinichi/Conan. How desperate he must be, how hopeless the circumstances are for him... and his family. How vividly he suffers in silence for them. Conan-- The poor, poor thing. And Ran... oh gosh, Ran. You made everything believable, and I'm especially pleased that Ran DIDN'T make the connection between Conan and Shinichi. Sometimes, people are just too close to a situation to notice the obvious, and you made that point perfectly in this story.
It was beautiful, and when I have time, I'm going to start on the third part of this little arc.
Bravo.
~Tomorrow
P.S. The first installment was just as amazing. ^_^ |
