I wonder if I'm just a bit too sensitive when it comes to little children right now, or is it the fact that Conan is so agonizing in this story that it made me cry. A bit embarrasing, yes, but it proves just how lovely the story is.
And Ran is BLIND for not seeing Shinichi in Conan, really... The scene of Yuuichi's birth was so bittersweet. Probably one of the best borth scenes I read in a while...

AW! Oh man, that is TOO cute! I was expecting Conan to go demand a temporary antidote ^~^ Wish I coulda seen Yuuichi's reaction to Shinichi-Shinich. XD Off to read the sequal!

This story really moved me (along with 'I'm Already There') and Yuuichi actually reminds me of someone I know... It's a 'she' though and when she was young she also just knew her father through the phone (though her father wasn't really in any kind of work that required him to not be there) and she always thought highly of her father but it turns out that... oh well maybe I shouldn't talk about those things!

Anyways I just wanted to say that I loved this fanfiction (and all your other ones as well) and that you're a great author! Keep up the good work!

So what do we have to do to get a continuation? Loved it somewhat as its bittersweet which makes it all the better. I so hope you continue this. I want to see Shinichi come home and all that stuff. Heheh, right after I reviewed the last story of this series, I discovered this one! In spite of your disclaimer, I think it is just as amazing as the first story, and definately builds the drama! You've got a great start to a chapter story here! I would eagerly read more of this if you felt inspired to write it! As with the last one, I'd love your permission to host this at my site!

A beautiful sequel, full of emotions, suspense, and the kind of angsty feeling that leaves the reader in tears, yet wanting more of it. I almost cried again reading this one. Poor Conan; I really do sympathise with him. It probably hurts so much to see Ran and Yuuichi everyday and yet not being able to tell them who he really is. Amazing.

i cried...again...

i think i'm falling in love with this pairing... a lot of angst and love around... the parts i liked best were the flashbacks Ran had about Conan... still very touching, sad and beautiful.

*applauds* Honestly this is really well written and really intresting. Its different and its awesome. Though it really makes you choke up.. XD I mean.. poor Conan, and his parents *sniffles* Anywho. Now off to read the full story *winks*
