BlackRaven 2003-03-13 . chapter 20Wow Wow and Wow again!
I've read all 6 parts of further to fly in one night! I just couldn't put it down!
Way to go!
Cant wait for part 7 - please write it soon! |
BenRG 2003-02-17 . chapter 20Hmm. Reminded me of the end of Season 2, with all these impertinent and irrelevant questions. Well, the press will chew this over and, having demonised John Bartlet and questioned the President's fitness for office (again. :-( ), they'll find something else to waste trees on.
However, I want to tell you something. I am enjoying this in the way that I enjoy the TV series. I think that you have caught the spirit of 'The West Wing' and I will keep reading for as long as you keep writing.

horse-girl 2003-02-17 . chapter 20 That was really good and I can't wait for 'And the Tide Rushes In'. Can you give Sam a bigger role though? Anyways, loved it!

MAHC 2003-02-16 . chapter 20 Wonderful! You have such great dialogue and your characterizations, especially of Jed and Abbey, are right on target. I'll eagerly await the continuation of this super series. |
Rose 2003-02-13 . chapter 19 I know it's been said a thousand times, but: I LOVE THIS SERIES! There. Got that out of my system. |
BenRG 2003-02-13 . chapter 19I'm sure that the President needed to hear a little good news. As for the (late) Ambassador to Cambodia... Well, it all goes to prove that stupidity can be a fatal disease. Nominate him for a Darwin Award (c) and let it go. ;-)
I'm looking forward to this press conference. Something tells me that we are going to see CJ at her best.

BenRG 2003-02-12 . chapter 18Well, that was an interesting little story wasn't it? It seems that Toby has this vision of Bartlet as this superman, completely overwhelming any negative human weakness. Unfortunately, no one is /really/ like that.
It is pretty obvious that Zoey has told her mother what /it/ is, and I think there might be a party on the way. It might even be the beginning of a cure for the President.

horse-girl 2003-02-11 . chapter 17 Excellent. So, everything's coming out now? That should be interesting. Anyways, loved it, can't wait to see more.

BenRG 2003-02-10 . chapter 16And now it all hits the fan.
It is odd how everyone wants to protect the President, isn't it? I think it is the measure of the man that he inspires such loyalty.

BenRG 2003-02-09 . chapter 15It is hard to imagine, isn\'t it? But there you are. I think that the next few weeks are going to be painful and difficult. I also don\'t think that this story will /ever/ go away.

 SecondSilk 2003-02-08 . chapter 14Yay! |
BenRG 2003-02-08 . chapter 14You know, maybe another grandchild could be a godsend. Not only would Jed have something to focus his mind on, but it would also distract the press... Not that he would want it to work that way.
Seriously, though, I bet that Jed spends a lot of time trying to be a better man than his father.

BenRG 2003-02-08 . chapter 13:-) Some vintage Leo + Jed there. Thanks for the effort. Josh really is an emotional screw-up though, isn't he?
BenRG's Rating: 7/10 |
BenRG 2003-02-06 . chapter 12A great Abbey/Leo dialogue that captures both characters well. I am all a jitter now, waiting to see what happens next! This is a well-written story, Nomad.

BenRG 2003-02-05 . chapter 11Ah! Those national security estimate briefings. I always thought that they are the CIA's revenge on the government.
Toby is asking a good question: How do you defend the indefensible? The President clearly loved his father, or at least didn't consider him a total gorgon. It must be difficult, accepting the fact that, to everyone else, he is a villain without any redeeming qualities.
