I'm not sure what provoked me to read this story. I usually avoid character death (or potential C.D)pieces like the plague. But I did read this and it was simply amazing. Especially the last paragraph - Grissom concluding that he'd become the one thing he always trusted. I am blown away. Thank you.

SHOCK! Utter shock! LOL I love Grissom too. He's the best character on the show! :) To see him like that is sad but appropriate. I love it. As much as I would love for U to continue this story, if U don't this ending is strangly fitting. U've done a GREAT job with this fic. Thanks for a good quick read.

I thought this was interesting - there's a definite sense of detachment - I'd be intrigued to see how you'd extend this.
