Cool. I love stories that give a different perspective. Elita-one deserves more characterization then 'Optimus Prime's Girlfriend' (for what that's worth when you're a robot). My favourite idea from this story is her feeling 'lost' when the new Prime comes in - everything has changed and where does she fit in the new scheme of things?
Also, I like that you made it not Optimus' fault. I like him characterized as genuinely good, so it made sense that he wouldn't have wanted to cause her pain.

That was amazing! A great insight into Elita's life and her role as a puppet. It's interesting to see that she didn't really love Optimus but she did so because it was "expected" of her.

That last line made shivers run down my spine. It summed up everything about Elita' life in such a haunting yet beautiful way.

I joined the site so I could comment on this - you've actually changed my whole attitude towards fan fic in one go - and had me looking at other stories. Brilliant and original take on Elita & Optimus' relationship.

I never thought that Elita and Ariel would be different people, so to speak, that it was just assumed that Elita would love Optimus just as Ariel loved Orion. Two souls that had grown apart...I can just see them sitting there together when he apologizes. *sigh*

This is beautiful and very disturbing on a lot of levels. You know I never did like the Elita-one/Optinus Prime paring. I always preferred Chromia/Iornhied at best.
However this was written in such a way that you really have to look at a second glance at the Prime/Elita relationship.

That was one of the best read that I have ever read about Elita and how she must feel as being protrayed as she usualy does.
You've really opend my eyes with this character.

Wow. A very powerful piece, written superbly on an area that most people don't consider. I've never thought of comparing TF with other literary works (maybe more the worse for me) but the comparison between Elita and Nora were very good and intriguing.
A good piece of work and I look forward to reading more pieces by you!
