tomorrow4eva 2008-10-19 . chapter 1Cool. I love stories that give a different perspective. Elita-one deserves more characterization then 'Optimus Prime's Girlfriend' (for what that's worth when you're a robot). My favourite idea from this story is her feeling 'lost' when the new Prime comes in - everything has changed and where does she fit in the new scheme of things?
Also, I like that you made it not Optimus' fault. I like him characterized as genuinely good, so it made sense that he wouldn't have wanted to cause her pain. |
Tatsumaki-sama 2008-01-22 . chapter 1That was amazing! A great insight into Elita's life and her role as a puppet. It's interesting to see that she didn't really love Optimus but she did so because it was "expected" of her.
//Now she has nowhere to go, knows not what to do. It is not in her programming nor has she ever been taught. She has never tasted life outside of expectation. In this doll's house has she remained, manipulated by others' hands to interact with her fellow puppets, but while they have come and gone and seen life outside of walls, she has not. And while her strings are cut, a new understanding has descended upon her. One that plunges like a knife deep into her soul, driving her mad with despair and anxiety, that which keeps her awake in the darkest hour of night, conscious drifting, gazing at the stars, whispering, wondering...
What purpose does a doll serve after she's lost her use?//
That last line made shivers run down my spine. It summed up everything about Elita' life in such a haunting yet beautiful way. |
staringsideways 2007-09-19 . chapter 1I joined the site so I could comment on this - you've actually changed my whole attitude towards fan fic in one go - and had me looking at other stories. Brilliant and original take on Elita & Optimus' relationship. |
Lady Razorsharp 2006-10-21 . chapter 1Oh, this is so incredibly sad. It makes sense-perfect sense, in fact--but oh, so sad. Elita and Optimus, playing a part...
I never thought that Elita and Ariel would be different people, so to speak, that it was just assumed that Elita would love Optimus just as Ariel loved Orion. Two souls that had grown apart...I can just see them sitting there together when he apologizes. *sigh* |
lal 2003-08-17 . chapter 1This is beautiful and very disturbing on a lot of levels. You know I never did like the Elita-one/Optinus Prime paring. I always preferred Chromia/Iornhied at best.
However this was written in such a way that you really have to look at a second glance at the Prime/Elita relationship. |
kpsd 2003-02-10 . chapter 1This story has really changed my view point on Elita-One and Optimus Prime.Thank you, thank you so much for sharing it to us. |
Cyrelle 2003-01-31 . chapter 1Your fic deserves full praise, and I can only commend it positively. Occasionaly I wondered how much it would su*k to be Elita, but never to this extent. I really enjoyed your very good, in-depth fic about her and her role among the autobots, as a mere decorative figure. Quite interesting point of view. |
Rose 2003-01-29 . chapter 1 Wow!!! This is quite good. You seem to know Alti and Optimus very well. |
Ashes2 2003-01-29 . chapter 1I knew there was a reason I put you on my favorite Authers list. |
Wicked Woman 2003-01-28 . chapter 1 Once again, you have handed FF.Net another one of your brilliant masterpeices no that is not sarcasm, it's the truth. Although I don't remember seeing a single episode of the G1 series, I picuted this perfactly (although not nowing exactly what Elta One looked like is a real pain in the @$$). Please continue making great stories such as this one. I've even put you on my favourites list. http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=214240 (in case you wanna check out my stories ^_^) Bye.

 j32 2003-01-27 . chapter 1That was just amazing!
I am in aw struck.
That was one of the best read that I have ever read about Elita and how she must feel as being protrayed as she usualy does.
You've really opend my eyes with this character.
Absalutly amazing. |
MJ4 2003-01-27 . chapter 1Wow. A very powerful piece, written superbly on an area that most people don't consider. I've never thought of comparing TF with other literary works (maybe more the worse for me) but the comparison between Elita and Nora were very good and intriguing.
A good piece of work and I look forward to reading more pieces by you! |
